But he told me while he was still alive || Luke || (Ab)Normal Days/Motive Reaction [ATTN: Gale, mostly]
It wasn’t before long that the weird of whatever ‘journey’ they were in had officially started. Feeling a sharp pain on his palm, despite not doing anything with it at all like holding stuff (it couldn’t have been nerves), he took off his glove and saw… Numbers? What the hell?
First it was that message on his phone, now this? Just what the hell is going on? Well, whatever it was, he better get going to that 104 building.
And when he got there… Luke didn’t know whether to laugh or scowl. Mission? Reaper’s Game? THIS is what their captors wanted them to participate in? Just to play a GAME? It was almost pathetic really…
But then again, he should probably take this seriously. If they had the ability to make others walk past them like they were non-existent, who knows what else they could do? (And they managed to have a stuffed toy talk almost as if it were a natural thing, he couldn’t help but be impressed.)
"Kill or face ‘erasure’…"
The observer mumbled beneath his breath. What did ‘erasure’ even mean? It seemed already apparent that they were already erased from being a part of society (see: ignored by society), what else could that thing, Mr. Mono, possibly imply?
And kill? Did they seriously think that a bunch of teenagers can be pushed to kill with the flick of a switch? They’re not animals, for crying out loud!
… You know what, whatever, Luke thought. It’s not like I’d actually fall for that killing ‘mission’. Though I better find my ‘partner’.
Who was ‘Gale Bourin’ anyways? He could only guess as he approached a person.
"You wouldn’t happen to be Gale Bourin, would you?"
Luke, you’re an observer. Why didn’t you try and figure it out yourself instead of going trial and error.
