dlol. This is dumb as fuck. Let’s compare the two examples. Camp Taurajo is one of the times alliance did bad. But, the General intended for civilians to survive by making gaps in the lines to allow them to flee. Arrested the looters and regretted the things that had to be done. General Hawthorne was killed by the Horde and they hung his body in the tree. Sylvanas intentionally slaughtered civilians to feed death satan for nihilistic reasons.  Sylvanas established a code for the Forsaken that free will is sacred. She violated the tenet of her own people. Her plan  was to create a manchurian agent. Anduin temporarily mind control  an SI:7 agent so he could continue exploring. No alliance character made a mourneblade unless you count the DK which is treated as a neutral entity during Legion. Sylvanas used the mourneblade to do to Anduin what was done to her. Yeah, sylvanas was a villain.

For those unaware: A woman holding a single handmade sign up to the cameras at the Tour de France accidentally knocked a cyclist at the front of the pack off of his bike, causing a pileup that became the largest mass crash in the race's entire history. She fled the country and there is now an international manhunt to find her and sue her.

Accidents happen and suing a spectator for this is stupid. Was she in a prohibited area? If so where was security? If she wasn’t in a prohibited area then why were spectators allowed so close to the road? Sounds like a monumental screw up on the race organizers part to me.

2 people have head wounds and one broke 4 ribs. She stepped out in the road to be on TV with a giant sign. The Tour de France has been happening for 118 years, has thousands of spectators over 21 days and is over 2,000 miles long. You want security for all that to prevent an adult for being a fucking idiot and trying to be on TV for 2 seconds? These people are professional athletes, but they have to be held responsible because they’re lives were put at risk for someone needing they’re face on TV? Ya’ll need to learn accountability and treating adults like adults.

jesus christ people just leaping and falling over themselves to defend this lady who caused serious injuries to innocent people are fucking awful. This lady isn’t a protester being wrongly targeted by police or a corporation for retaliation over resisting corruption or pointing out abuse.

She’s a selfish asshole who carelessly put other people in serious danger and hurt people all because she wanted to be seen with sign, which, to be absolutely clear, was not a political message, was not a protest, it was just “Hi Grandparents”.

The victims of her assholery deserve compensation and she is the one directly responsible. I hope they find her and she suffers the full consequence for her disgusting actions.

I don't think she's a girlboss. I just don't think SHE should be the one getting sued. The bikers definitely deserve compensation but they should get it from the race organizers because the audience SHOULDN'T be able to just waltz into the track like that. Yeah, she shouldn't have gotten onto the track like that, it was selfish and stupid, but an event as big as this SHOULD have some sort of barricade or something to physically prevent the audience from interferring with the race. The Tour de France has a long (and I mean LONG) history of audience members, stray animals, vehicles, etc. getting onto the track and causing accidents and even injuries for the cyclists, so to me this accident is less about the fact that this woman did something idiotic and more about the fact that the Tour de France organizers do a frankly dogshit job of guaranteeing the racers' safety and they have been doing so forever. Something like this was bound to happen eventually as there are long stretches of road where there's nothing preventing a clueless fan or a malicious asshole from accidentally or intentionally tripping up the racers.

So TLDR, while what this woman did was stupid, I don't think she deserves to have her life completely ruined with a lawsuit she probably can't even pay, when the race organizers are probably more able to provide financial compensation to the injured riders AND more respondible for this as their inability and/or unwillingness to properly barricade the entire track has been a repeated source of accidents for the participants for literal decades.

Given the size of the route for the Tour, security logistics is an actual nightmare and while it's reasonable to say wild animals are blameless for wandering onto the track, humans should be able to reason and behave in a responsible manner. This woman did not. She was negligent. Her actions caused serious injuries. Yes the event organizers are not blameless. But this woman selfishly hurt people just to have her face on TV and then fled from the law instead of taking responsibility for her actions. I have no sympathy for her.

Trying to keep the tour de france safe at all time is definitely a logistics nightmare. Your going to need an army of security guards.

so here is what NOT to do if you’re a loyal fan of adobe who has the cash to shell out for a newer and shittier version of the product you already paid for.

1) DON’T use your search bar to find and open the Run app

2) DON’T type in services.msc

3) DON’T find Adobe Genuine Software Integrity Services and right-click to get a dropdown menu, and don’t select ‘properties’

4) if you happen to click properties, DON’T use the startup type dropdown to locate the option to disable the program. be sure you DON’T click apply to finalize that change. 

5) DO NOT do the same thing in order to also disable Adobe Genuine Software Monitor 

if you do all of these things, this WILL disable adobe’s ability to monitor the software, and you will be forced to continue using the same older software that you already paid for instead of having to sign up for a newer, shittier version and pay more for it. so if you have lots of cash to spare and are cool with putting it the pockets of racketeering capitalists, definitely don’t do any of these things. 

however, you SHOULD reblog this to spread the word, as we certainly want to make sure lots of people know what NOT to do :)
