Do you ever think about the fact that tara's last moment of peace was when she actually passed out on her kitchen floor after she was stabbed seven times?
Getting stabbed hurts.
But not even that much when you feel all your energy drain from you and your life slowly leaving your body.
It feels peaceful.
Her brain is completely off when normally Tara has to worry about her mother, amber...
sam.
But now all she has to do is close her eyes and hope that when she wakes up, she's in a better place.
Hopefully dead.
But no, life wasn't that kind to her.
She wakes up, and she feels worse than she ever felt. Every single inch of her body aches.
Then, too much happens.

There are a lot of scream vii theories of it being christmas themed and... whose birthday is in December?
TARA!!! and you know what that means? More truma for her. yippie.
It's December 14th.
The movie starts with a party, Tara's birthday party. She hasn't actually celebrated it since sam left, but now she's back, and she's so happy, so what could possibly go wrong?
Yeah, everything goes in the most possible wrong way.
Someone dies at the party. They get murdered at the party .
And on the wall, there's a sign written with the victim's blood that says "happy birthday tara." Needless to say, Tara did not have a happy birthday.
The killings stops.
Ghostface doesn't show up again until a day before Christmas Eve.

Just thought about the possibility of no one showing up at tara's graduation. It's not like she seriously thought christina was going to be there for her to show her how proud she was, but there was still a little bit of hope.
Sam couldn't come because she had to go to work and couldn't miss it, considering her boss was already on her ass for skipping a few days of work to take tara to her physical therapies and some other appointments.
Which is something that christina should've done btw
All she ever wanted was to make her family proud, but apparently, she didn't work hard enough for that.
Each one of her friends' families were there, to cheer them up, and then there was tara, standing there with nobody to share this happiness with. But then she spots somebody familiar in the crowd: Sam. Her Sammy was smiling at her and mouthing a small "i'm proud of you"

I've watched the Super Mario Bros movie yesterday, and i've gotta say this.
Mario and Luigi are kind of Sam and Tara coded. Like- the older sibling (Mario/Sam) protecting the young sweet sibling (luigi/tara), but not being fully appreciated by their family because, in their opinion, they're a bad influence.
But despite that, the younger sibling keeps on being by their side because they matter more than anybody else. And then, they find their own little family where they can be just the way they are (princess peach, Toad, Donkey kong/chad, mindy, gale)
and also the "nothing can hurt us, as long as we're together" literally screams carpenter sisters. And Tara and Luigi showing that even if they're not as strong as Mario/Sam, they can still be a menace if you dare to hurt them or if they're in danger.

The guilt is physically and mentally killing sam. She finally got tara back and a fucking asshole took her away from her again.
And that asshole is not ghostface, that asshole is sam.
Sam, who ignored tara and treated her like she didn't exist, all because of those diaries. Sam, who left her for 5 years with that monster of a mother. Sam, who was the reason why tara got attacked that night. Sam, who selfishly took her time and enjoyed her final kill and left tara bleeding on the floor.
She doesn't deserve to be alive.
Ending it all would be so so easy, but sam doesn't deserve easy. Sam deserves to suffer and live forever with the knowledge that her little sister was dead because of her.
But that's another thing sam failed at.
Precisely a month after Tara Carpenter's death, Samantha carpenter found her way back to her sister... again.
