We gotta start taking "child having an absolute meltdown in public" not just as a circumstance to be compassionate about, but as the valuable opportunity it is.

I personally like to close my eyes and pretend I'm the one who's screaming.

Scream for us all, little nugget.

Every time a child screams or cries out of nowhere I intentionally say “me too” or “couldn’t have said it better myself” or something similar before the parent can try to apologize.

OUR MELTDOWN

Hey! My cancer north node falls into my 8th house! There isn't much information I can find about it.. Also is there a site to calculate relocation charts? I grew up in another country but diff cities in there.. So which place should I consider as the new city? Thanks🌝

Hey there! 💕❤️ Me, immediately, hearing Cancer NN in 8th: understandable. I have a Capricorn in 2nd house as well, not my nodal axis though. To answer this briefly, this has a lot to do with your values and self-protection sometimes getting in the way of understanding or being more sympathetic towards others. A lot of the time you are held back by your own rigidity, Capricorn SN in 2nd may provide for others in a more material sense, however when it comes to truly being non-judgemental or discriminatory you are lacking.

Cancer NN in 8th is asking you to actually develop your empathetic qualities, not just towards others but with yourself as well. You generally cling onto too many priorities and values you think you should upkeep, that is actually stopping you from actually developing intimacy with anyone else in this regards. You may be too afraid of letting yourself go or becoming vulnerable, and thus – you cannot accept anyone else who doesn’t ‘prove’ or align themselves with your structural/see-able/observable morality as well. Try to let yourself connect through developing a gentler, sensitive and sympathetic approach to yourself and others. What you want to achieve ultimately is to ‘break down’ some of these Capricorn walls to actually have emotionally fulfilling relationships and cut away some of the useless rigidity in your life you rely too much on as well.

As for relocation charts… here’s a guide on how to do it on astro.com 💕❤️ You can also use this for when you move to live in a different place (in your adult life). 💕❤️

one reason why learning body respect is so powerful–and so discouraged by the mechanism of social control that is diet culture–is that when we learn to honor our bodies’ rights, needs, and wisdom, we become much more aware and less tolerant of violations in other areas of life.

when we are attuned to our body’s need for rest, we are much more aware of the violence of even the 40 hour work week (ofc work is far more violent than that)

when we carve out our own permission to accept our body’s natural weight set point, demands that we shrink our personality, our voice, or our emotions in order not to cause social offense feel like much less acceptable constrictions

when we learn to value our natural hair and skin, and give up harmful rituals like chemical straightening or lightening (or the beliefs that underlie them), other ways in which we are required to harm ourselves–from a coerced gender presentation to living with the consequences of environmental racism–come into clearer focus as specifically targeted violence

when we have compassion for our bodies and their vulnerability, we are more sensitive to mistreatment in personal relationships

the systems that make us sick and self-hating are political projects, enacted in ways that can be analyzed, understood, and changed. this movement is inward and outward, with the former supporting the latter (and vice versa). when our healing is rooted in wisdom and compassion and self respect, we inevitably turn those values outward, take them up against the structures which would strip them from us.

Isn't it absolutely
Terrifyingly, shockingly
Amazing
How words
Those tiny little sounds
In this chemical-filled air
Those shapeless weird marks
On stark white paper
Can make or break
Living breathing people
Stab them at heart
Without a single weapon
Push them off
Their strong frim feet
Take away the Earth
They used to stand on
Words; they're powerlessly powerful
So use yours
Well

Emotions are such critical terrain right now because the body shows us through emotions that it has not been and cannot be fully ruled.

We emote unexpectedly or become overwhelmed in inconvenient times. The body recoils and softens in proximity.

The emotional unruliness is a pathway back to remembering that we are alive, a pathway back to remembering that we are impacted by the world, that we are real and most encouraging yet, unknown.
