"I know you’re there… —You aren’t quiet enough to hide from me.”
"Who said anything about hiding?"
"Who are you, red hair ?"
"That's for me to know, and you to find out."
"Provided you decide to get in my way, anyways- I wouldn't suggest it."
"... Where did the cat go?"

Sasori is on the right~
Sometimes, inspiration could be a bitch. Particularly when one was suffering from a complete and utter lack of it.
Sasori let out an irritated sigh, clutching the pencil in his hand so tightly that it was dangerously close to snapping in his grip. Why couldn't anything be easy? When he was approached to create the school's newest mural, he had embraced the idea with the closest thing to enthusiasm that the redhead was capable of. It was only now, when push came to shove and he needed to sit down and actually sketch out the very bare bones of his masterpiece that the teenager's mind had decided to conveniently go blank. Under normal circumstances, the idea of complete creative freedom- within reason, anyways- would have been music to his ears. However, when Sasori had finally gotten the chance to sit down and plot out his newest creation, the teen had suddenly realized how much of a double-edged sword such freedom really was.
Artblock was a pain in the ass, plain and simple.
Shoving his pencil back into his pocket, the redhead got to his feet, deciding to take a walk in an attempt to clear his head. He had no particular destination in mind, feeling simply content to wander the halls aimlessly. Movement caught his attention out of the corner of his eye when Sasori happened to pass a classroom, however, and curiosity compelled him to peek inside to see who was hanging around the school at such an hour. "... Why are you here?"
Tumblr did an update and I don't like it.
"Snow’s so much easier to deal with, though. Whilst it’s falling, anyway - it does tend to stick around a lot longer."
"Personally, I have much more trouble with it when it's falling."
"It tends to stick, in general."
"At least snow you can shovel away. Rain just seeps into everything."
"That may very well be true."
"Though I think I might prefer that over solid ice."
"I don't know what's worse."
"Snow, or freezing rain."
Cue one Sasori handing him a box of chocolates. "I can't eat these. Take them." Because he clearly didn't get them for the blond on purpose.
Deidara paused upon being handed the box of chocolates, glancing down at them before bringing his attention back up to the ginger. A hint of a smile graced his lips then as he moved to rub the back of his neck. Was this an attempt at courting him? If so, it was pretty darn cute.
"Thanks, yeah…."
"Don't mention it. Like I said, it's not as though I can actually eat them."
He stood there for a moment, almost uncomfortably silent, before slowly turning around. "They aren't poisoned, surprisingly enough, so you should have nothing to worry about. I didn't even make them." Sasori paused, before making a vague, shooing motion with one hand. "Enjoy your fermented cocoa beans and condensed milk."

"In my defense, I was a bit preoccupied with my next piece."
"My apologies for keeping you waiting. I'm ready to leave when you are."

{I am a weapon.}
There was a pause from Deidara the moment he heard the door click and swing open. A smug smile found its way onto his face then, and those lips soon parted for a rather cheerful, ‘Oh look who came to save the day,’ to pass them.
To say Deidara wasn’t happy with how he had to be saved would have been an understatement; he was absolutely livid with this. He was angry with himself for letting his guard down, and more angry with Sasori for rubbing salt in open wounds. Though, it couldn’t be helped, it was only in his partner’s nature to do such a thing. After all, the sass was strong with this one.
So, for now, the blond was going to stick with the tranquil fury that he would more than likely hold back until they were out of Iwagakure. He wasn’t about to go and start a fight with Sasori because he couldn’t keep out of his business. This meant that Deidara was going to end up opening his mouth once more if only to say something along the lines of,—
"I’m going to assume you brought bags of clay, too, right? If not I can fill objects with explosive chakra and fling them at any pursuers."
"Of course I did." He slid his hand off of the bomber's shoulder, wandering around to face him. Upon getting a clear look at the blond's features, however, his eyes narrowed, and he reached out to tilt his chin up slightly. "You're bleeding." He had assumed they wouldn't waste any time in trying to drag information out of him, though the sight still brought a frown to the puppet master's face. "I'll fix your face later." Sasori eventually decided, allowing that hand to drop, in favor of digging around in one cloak sleeve. "From what I can tell, it obviously doesn't look like it's fatal. You're probably going to be in pain, and it looks like you'll have an impressive black eye once everything is all said and done, but it won't be enough to kill you. At the moment, our priority should be getting you out of here as quickly as possible." As easy as he claimed breaking in to be, they were bound to notice something was off eventually. He hadn't done as good a job of covering his tracks as he usually did, for whatever reason.
"Here." The puppeteer said, removing a small bag from his cloak and tossing it in Deidara's direction. "I didn't bring much, so you'll have to refrain from attempting to bomb the village. You're going to be our way out." Just because things had been going relatively smoothly thus far didn't mean it wouldn't erupt into chaos the moment they attempted to make their escape. And while Sasori was confident in their ability to get the hell out of dodge regardless of whether they did so on foot or in the air, they could cover significantly more ground at a faster pace while on one of Deidara's birds. "If push comes to shove, however, there should be enough in there for you to be able to properly defend yourself. I had a feeling they would take your clay. Just don't go overboard." Considering who he was talking to, the puppet master felt as though he had reason to be cautious.
"Are you ready to leave? We don't have much time." The redhead made his way over to the door, peering cautiously outside. "I'm assuming you know the layout of this place better than I do."
