The Epitome of Perfection

@narcissistic-moose / narcissistic-moose.tumblr.com

My name is Adam. I am the epitome of perfection, and I am smarter than all of you. I guess I should clarify, I am only 99% perfect. I am extremely smart, good looking, athletic, and a complete joy to be around. The only thing is I am a little to humble. I also love knowledge and research so if you ever need help, drop me an ask and I can help you prepare for a debate/essay.

This site will be dedicated to showing multiple mediums of visual art that are dark in appearance and/or vibes. This is an illustration by Gustave Doré from the book Paradise Lost.

i love that the next logical step for this guy goes “hmm, can’t quite reach the next handhold” to “flip upside down”

I think he is trying to be an assassin and taking the mick out of when you play the game and try to reach higher than you can you do a funky thing and then you can get there

This is the Batman we need to see more often. The one who remembers what it was like to be a scared child, one who knows how to handle situations delicately.

One of the reason why I love batman so much. He is portrayed as a very careful and guarded man. But he is probably the most human out of anyone. It’s why he is the knight that gotham deserves.

He is not comforting the girl because he remembers being a scared child, he is doing it because it will help him catch a criminal, or prevent one in the future.

Batman has often been a figure of humanity, especially when it comes to dealing with children. My favourite example of this came from Justice League Unlimited. Something had happened to Ace from the Royal Flush Gang where her powers were evolving too fast and too strong to the point where she was seriously warping reality and it was killing her. Waller, being herself, wanted the child killed to get rid of the problem but what Batman ended up storming Ace’s reality castle thing and helped her come to terms with what was happening to her and sat with her until her time came.

It was either kill her or allow her to die of natural causes. Even though Batman is loose in his “no killing” code of ethic it was still in his best interest to empathize with Ace. Yes she “read his mind” but there are cannon examples of Batman being able to resist mind control and hide his true thoughts. Batman always has something to gain.

Oh yea and Batman is not the most human when it comes to mental state. That goes to Aquaman. He constantly deals with issues of being unsuspected and still working to better humanity because he knows it is whats right. He struggles to deal with the public viewing him as worthless or a joke hero.
