          pushing her hair back, he cradled her face like she was the most precious thing in the world. he never felt this away about anyone. he never felt the need to protect and hold anyone else until tatum walked into his life. ❝ you know i think the world of you, right? because i do. you’re amazing. ❞ he confessed before leaning down to press a soft kiss to her lips. ❝ i’ll try to, okay? i’ll come to you. ❞

      ❝ amber, you’re doing it again. you’re apologizing again for something you should not be apologetic for, ❞ he corrected her with a tiny smile. ❝ i didn’t want to either. we both said we wouldn’t get to this, but i couldn’t help myself. you’re pretty easy to love, you know that ? ❞ corbin’s smile only grew. carefully, he leaned in to kiss her. it was a sweet and simple kiss; the kind of kiss they weren’t used to. it felt nice to finally get everything off their chests.

      nodding his head, he pulled down his sleeves and started to wipe at her mascara stained face. he had never seen her so vulnerable before. it was new for him. but, he knew he still loved her. he loved every part of her. of course, it was not love at first sight, but slowly he fell in love. corbin was still falling in love with her every day. ❝ don’t be sorry, jesus. ❞ he laughed. ❝ yeah… i love you. is that okay ? ❞

          hissing a few curse words, he’s quick to grab the side railing before he falls down the steps. she may have been smaller than he was, but when provoked she could take him down. his eyes were wide as he stared up at her in shock. never in his life did he feel this bad. the guilt was eating at him and he felt like the biggest piece of shit in the world. ❝ amber, i’m so sorry… i never meant to hurt you. ❞ he carefully started to approach her again. ❝ i want to be with you too, okay ? i really mean it. i know i haven’t treated you right the past few weeks and i know i don’t always say what i feel, but i’m working on it. ❞ corbin swallowed thickly. as much as he wanted to choke back on the word vomit that was about to come up he couldn’t help it. there was no stooping it. ❝ i love you too. ❞

        usually, corbin could fix anything. when they fought they made up and without a doubt he had something up his sleeve to make their problems go away. but, this time he didn’t see that happening. there was nothing up his sleeve that could help him fix everything. dodging the clothes that were launched at him, he stumbled up a few more steps and around the clothes littering the floor. ❝ what are you not understanding, amber ? i don’t want her ! i never wanted her ! i want you ! ❞ he argued. he tried to hide the small croak his in voice. he sucked back any tears because there was no way he was going to let the angry tears flow. so, he suppressed it. ❝ i’ve never wanted anyone else and right now you’re not listening to me. ❞

          groaning, he tilted his head back and stared at the ceiling as if he was looking for an answer on how to make this right again. he knew coming over like this would not be a good idea. but he couldn’t let this go. he couldn’t let the idea of them not seeing each other in almost three weeks go. ❝ and are you not the same way? so many guys are after you and i find it hard to believe you don’t flirt back with the guys who are trying to get with you, ❞ corbin pointed out and daringly took one more step up towards her. ❝ but i don’t want her! amber, please come back… i’m not leaving until we fix this! you can count on that. ❞ 

            sighing, he rubbed at his temples and tried to calm himself down. corbin knew it was best to calm down otherwise he would lose it again and say something he would regret. ❝ yeah, yeah, yeah– fuck me. i deserve that. ❞ he sighed. ❝ what? you’re not some extra girl… i’ve haven’t had any other girls in so long. i dropped them, like, a few weeks after i met you. ❞ he explained and took one more step up. although he didn’t expect her to forgive him so soon, he’d still try to earn her trust again. ❝ girls have tried to get to me, but i haven’t been with anyone else but you. swear to god i haven’t. ❞

           ❝ i could do this all day, sweetheart. ❞ corbin started towards her to close the space between them. they both knew the right thing to get each other’s blood boiling. it was was one of the cons of knowing almost everything about each other. corbin did not expect what came next. his face flew in the other direction and a hand immediately went up to cradle the cheek that was now bright with her hand print. he had been slapped before. when you were an asshole like him it was bound to happen, but never in his life did someone he truly care about– like amber– slap him. that hurt more than the actual slap. ❝ amber! ❞ he called out. following her to the steps, he felt his heart sink once he noticed the tears streaming down her face. ❝ please come back down here and talk to me. i’m not leaving until you do! ❞ corbin warns and stands on the first step. ❝ i can’t stop thinking about you, amber, you know that. it’s impossible for me to just stop thinking about you…. look, i’m sorry. just get down here now. ❞

         ❝ that’s because it’s the only time when you’re not a pain in my ass! ❞ and he regrets his words the minute he says them, but his pride won’t let him take it back. corbin’s too stubborn for that. his eyes narrow at her and his face flushes a deep red at the idea of someone else being there. ❝ bullshit! you’re a liar! you’d never, ❞ he spits out with venom laced words. the man couldn’t remember the last time he was this upset. if he thought about it though, it’d probably be over amber, too. ❝ what? you jealous because i had her bent over the same desk you were bent over a month ago? ❞

i literally deleted all of the muses that i don’t / never used on this blog and i’m never using them again except i’m moving my nico over to another blog
