"Look at me. Just look at me and stay awake. Can you do that?"
"I… I-I dunno." he responded back softly, light-headed, hurt and dazed from the fall. Things did not turn out well for him when the Titans attacked him after his miniature heist; he ended up taking the high grounds after trying to trick the team, but after encountering Robin due to one of his sudden attacks, he was knocked off one of the buildings, by surprise, (since there were duplicates there as well and the boy wonder seemed to get lucky), and hit the ground below.
He was surprisingly not dead, which he thought he was for a second. But Starfire was there instantly to help him after telling Robin that she will check if it was the real Billy or not. While the rest of the team fought the duplicates on the high and also the low ground, Starfire was there on the bottom. He was pretty sure some bones were broken. “I dunno…”
Starfire bites her lip, looking over the body of the duplicator as she gently lifts the upper half of his torso into her arms. By X’hal, he is battered, broken.. She had no idea the Boy Wonder could be so brutal. He is in a bad way, and the tamaranian knows that she needs to get him medical aid. Now.
"Oh Billy.." Star whispers, her calm voice wavering as she takes in all of his injuries, her eyes filling with tears. "What were you thinking, you silly.. silly boy.." She gently brushes his bloody hair out of his eyes. "Can you stay awake until I am able to get you to a hospital.?"
Having her lift him up like this, he groaned in pain and bit his lip. This wasn’t good. He didn’t think his back was broken since he landed on his stomach, thank god, but ribs were definitely broken, and other bones as well. When she said this, he just sighed shakily and closed his eyes. “Haven’t… Haven’t been out in a while.. An’ the one time I do, ‘course yew guys are out too… heh… I’m sucha dummy, huh?” He said all of this quietly. At her question, he wasn’t sure. “.. I dunno… It’s okay though… Go back up ta yer team alright? I can… I can get up…” What a complete lie.
He might be her supposed enemy, but seeing this.. this boy that she had grown quite fond of in this state.. It breaks her heart. "Of course you cannot.." Star mutters firmly but kindly, and stands up slowly with Billy in her arms, trying not to hurt him anymore than he already is, and flies to the nearest hospital. "Billy, please stay awake.. That is all I ask of you.. You do not have to speak or move.. Just.. Just stay awake.. A few moments longer.."
