Okay, David: listen up. You don’t have to promote Gillian’s stuff on Twitter. You don’t have to respond to her tweet cheerleading and promoting your work to her 447K followers. But it would be polite to at least ‘like’ her tweet. No one who doesn’t already believe you’re sleeping together is going to suddenly think you are based on that acknowledgment…just so you know.

Cate, I have been following X-FIles for some 20 years. Yes, I may be older than you. I see the chemistry between David and Gillian. I really would like to see them end up together but her living in London, with little ones, and David wanting to be close to his kids, is probably what keeps them at arms length from a serious relationship. So, were you aware that David visited Gillian and kids on a small vacation in Vancouver in the Summer of 2014? Just curious.

Strangely, I find the prospect of someone on Tumblr actually being older than I am as intriguing as the DD/GA gossip tidbit. ;)

But back to the topic at hand…okay, I’ll bite. How do you know DD was in Vancouver in summer of 2014 visiting Gillian? Why was G even there in the first place?

Stop it,distance’s relationships can work! Ok?? A lot of people do it,it’s hard but possible

To be fair, Gillian has said in at least one recent interview that she has friends in Vancouver, so it is feasible that she was on holiday there?! 🤔😊

Just to clarify: there is not ONE IOTA of real evidence to support that Gillian was there, much less David. The original “asker” was looking for confirmation and had no additional information about it either. 

This rumour is a COMPLETE FABRICATION - so relax.

I remember this. This "rumor" initiated on the site of Celebrity Dirty Laundry. So yeah...zero evidence. And zero credibility.

I mean, it’s a nice idea that we could carry on. But I live in London. I’ve got three kids. I have other commitments to other shows. David is doing a TV show for NBC [Aquarius]. There’s a lot of things that aren’t conducive to a long-running or even one more year of a running, multiple-episode TV show in the mix. So there would have to be some pretty extraordinary circumstances. But maybe. Maybe the success that we’ve had thus far with the six episodes is enough for extraordinary circumstances to present themselves. You never know.
