It seems next week I will be giving my lectures at the university. I know I haven’t spoken much about since they asked me in September, but I have them all planned out. There has been countless hours doing research and bugging a few people to listen to what I have written. I am slightly nervous, but I can’t wait.
Sounds good..what kinds of things do you do with the kids? Yup, work and family is all I have time for these days. I have another rescue mission coming up in December so I’ve been getting ready for that.
Depends on what they would like to do. We play air hockey, fooseball, games like that. They try to get me to play basketball and I am horrible at it. Football seems to be my game. We talk or play improv games. It’s a drop in time. It’s really up to the teens. When do you leave for that in December?
Yeah I really did. I got sunburnt on my shoulders but it was fun, How is your week going?
The sun is a little warmer here than back home. We have to remember that sun screen. I do especially with being a ginger. My week is going well. Work is good. Looking forward to the weekend. What about yourself?
The usual, Turkey or Ham, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, Cranberry sauce, and tons of desserts. If you would like to volunteer, that would be great! There will probably be a selection.
I would like to volunteer and so would my girlfriend. We are both from England and it’s something we don’t normally celebrate. This way we can give back to others.
I have to trim mine for work. Otherwise, I would probably keep it at a good length. Not too long, but long enough that it still looks good. Mine hasn’t been bad at all, just filled with work.
I have to do the same for work. If I have to wear a mask it can become irritating. Work isn’t a bad thing. You have to remember to have some fun.
That’s great! I’m sure your family will be very happy to see you. Five months? Yeah, it’s definitely needed. Oh, she has, I have a feeling when she comes back she’ll make me go through them all. Have you?! That’s amazing! We should all go out afterward and get a few drinks.
They are. I am bringing my girlfriend home with me. They are all very eager to meet her. I hope they don’t eat her alive. You will have to listen to a million stories, because there will be stories for all those pictures she took. We can arrange that.
Well, technically, someone else is doing it, I just sit there and proide the face and the hair for them to play with. Oof, I felt like Ronald. Have you ever blown your nose so often that it starts to not even feel like your nose anymore? Oh, you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving? Well, I guess the holiday itself is built on awful things in history but I do usually take the opportunity to reconnect with people. It’s nice of you to do that though.
Does it not get tiring though? To constantly have someone proding at you? I have had moments like that, where your nose feels raw and it hurts to blow it. Thankfully I haven’t had one of those colds in a long time. It isn’t something celebrated back home, but I am going to go down to the fire station and volunteer.
Yeah, basically. Well, I mean, I don’t run as much as I use my gym, but, running is also good, and my dogs appreciate it when I want to.
You could always come out for a job with me. I usually go in the mornings.
You’re going to visit for the holidays tho, right? Yes, Florence is gorgeous. I’m sure she will! She’s already spammed my phone with photos of Big Ben. That’s good! Glad everything is going well there. Busy is good, keeps you on your toes. Nothing too much, I mean, I’ve just been rehearsing like crazy and writing a composition. But, other than that, no. How about with you?
I plan on going home for the holidays, yes. It will be a nice trip home. It has been almost five months since I have been home. That is too long for my liking. That is awesome. She should take a lot of pictures. I have bought tickets to one of your shows. Come see you and Evander play.
Aww, thank you, Callum! Two hours in the hair and makeup chair will do that, for sure. They even managed to cover up how red my nose was from that cold. I swear, I felt like Ronald McDonald. But I am feeling better now. Ah, are you working too hard as usual? I hope you get Thanksgiving off at least?
I don’t know how you can manage to do hair and make-up for two hours straight. I think I would lose my ind. You cannot tell you look that Ronald. Though, if you did, you would still look beautiful. I am working hard, that doesn’t change. I don’t know. I don’t celebrate it, so I might work to let someone else be with their family.
She was in London the other day, not sure if she’s in Florence now or not, but she’s going to all the major cities to explore. It’s her first time over there. That’s good! How’s the hospital? Quiet can definitely be good. My week has been good, nothing too major has changed since we last spoke.
I miss home. Florence is beautiful, she should have better weather. I hope she has a great experience and wants to go back again. Things at the hospital are good. I’ve been busy but I’m not complaining. I love helping others. Nothing new or exciting?
There’s nothing guilty about ice cream. Just means I have to work out harder the next day.
The extra five mile jog. I have had to do that a couple times.

So I’ve been feeling a little under the weather this past week. Nothing major, just a serious sniffly cold plus the current state of affairs just felt like it was weighing me down so I decided to take a little break from the site. I did however, get to do this really cool photoshoot the other day and I felt a little like I was thrown back in time to the 1960s yet it felt weirdly familiar. Another tumultuous and remarkable decade. How are you all doing? I’m always here if you want to talk about anything, so I don’t know, come chat!

Had to say goodbye to the beard earlier this week, afraid it was getting too long. Not even three days and I have a half past 5 o’clock shadow. How is everyone’s week?
Yes, it’s Movember. I always have to trim mine. It can get too long and itchy. My week is going well, how is yours?
