Oh. The news, predictably, made Emmie deflate a little. She even forgot to shuffle forward, and had to hasten to keep up- but when the girl lifted her gaze up from her feet and back to Shin, she seemed unwaveringly optimistic still. “Well. That’s fine.” She said firmly, stepping forwards a half- step as the queue went on.

“You shouldn’t put things off with important stuff, after all. We can exchange numbers instead maybe? Or maybe we can meet up later. The world is vast, after all. Lots of opportunities to be lost and found or either of both.” She grinned as she said, adding a bit of rhyme in just for the fun of it. And she did understand- if it was for his pokemon, it was surely important. She knew she would do the same for hers too. “Maybe your two can meet Notos later. I promise he doesn’t peck!” She added as an afterthought, heaving her basket up when the register loomed ahead.

The payment for her things, overall, came off as a bit bulky. Emmie was fine with this though, knowing feather shampoo was a tad expensive.

He wasn’t going to change his plans just because he had made a new acquaintance. He already had deviated far enough from his plans with that previous battle and having made this shopping trip. If he hadn’t even met Emmie he’d have already been knee deep in studying the flock of bird pokemon by now. But hind sight is a pain like that wasn’t it? It’s not like he particularly regretted these decisions either.

Glancing towards the other trainer, Shin would remain open minded towards the options that she presented. Even if, he didn’t really have any way to ‘exchange numbers’ with her. Heck, the man used very little technology as it is by comparison to most trainers. Even still, he’d reply to Emmie rather simply. “I’ll probably be sticking close to the wild bird pokemon for a little while. And if they really congregate in this field like I’ve been told if you can make your way out of town we could probably meet up again. I’m sure Asu and Anit would be happy to meet Notos.”

“Ah, so you’re more of a generalist. I see.” She knew that generalization and specialization had their strong points and drawbacks in battling, and she could infer from that that breeding was no different. “I’m a generalist myself, too, although I’m rather partial to Water and Ice–specialization makes you an expert, but generalization makes you adaptable. And that’s the most important thing–being skilled enough to raise any Pokémon that might fall under your care. Do you agree?”

It was while the trainers talked that at the mans feet a baby Happiny ran in circles, chasing after a Goomy which trailed in front of her. The pokemon were quite obviously playing, and on occasion the man glanced downwards to make sure that the pokemon were just fine.

“I suppose so. Although I’d say my skill in caring for pokemon comes more from how long I’ve been doing it rather than the variety of pokemon that I’ve been taking care of.”

I can’t speak from experience to tell you whether or not they’re more or less difficult from other dance styles, but I do know that they take many years of practice and study to master. I actually took ballet lessons when I was younger to gain that experience before I went into the more major dance forms,Reo admitted. It wasn’t something he was particularly embarrassed about, but he was wary of the response he would receive. He would argue with anyone who attempted to insult ballet – it was an art form in itself and was to be respected as such. One could learn many things from it, things that could be applied outside of dance as well. It was a very versatile art.

“Huh, guess that makes sense.” Although it wasn’t personally his cup of tea the skater really didn’t think hide nor hair of the idea of a man doing ballet. After all why should it matter? Or perhaps, he might have just been getting tired of talking about a talent that he only ever used for monetary gain. Really there was no way to tell when looking at his flat facial expressions.
