—- Trust the person who kills people as a hobby?
[ He believed that the correct term for that would be a
' friendly reminder. ' ]
"Oh, come on, dear. You know I'd never kill you."

[ hello everyone! it’s been so long since i’ve been on here wow. uh, anyway, i’ve been really missing clara, but i don’t want to lose muse for my baby. so i’m going to re-boot her as a sideblog & see how that goes! i’ll let you all know when i’m done! ]
❛ and i’m like j e s u s im on the freaking bus again because all my rides to school are dead ❜
[ there is a radio advert in wales that is literally only there to remind people not to eat daffodils i'm crying ]
No. [ It's quick, the announcement of his decision. Outside of Clara, he currently has no place to go. His sole Cybermite was currently burrowing its way deep into the TARDIS, an insurance policy that he would, at least, continue to survive. ]
He's not here. He doesn't have your back. He had no way of knowing when you've /solved/ this problem.
"I'll send him a message, somehow, when you're gone. Something that could only possibly come from me." And she wasn't going to think about what the message could be now, just in case he decided to send it out himself.
"And if that doesn't work... well, that's my problem. I don't need the Doctor looking after me all of the time."
[ He mentally ruffles at the suggestion that they're alike in any way, especially when it comes to something so against his nature as surprise.
But he can pass that with help of the image she's thinking about. The one she's almost /projecting/. ] Is he trusting you to 'make the right decision' here too? [ He remarks, fully grabbing onto the bait. ]
"Most likely. And he won't be back until I make it, so hanging around like this is just a waste of your time." Another memory is shown then, of her first adventure with this Doctor-- the time that he left her with the clockwork droids.
"It's something he's been doing frequently. He never comes back early. If you truly want him back here you should leave my mind."
[ Her tactics work. Perhaps a bit forceful, not as elegant as he would have done, but it certain works. He rouses, turning from his current task. ]
The moon. [ Is his greeting words on his 'return'. ] Truly an egg? [ For an orbital that his people had tried to possess more than once, the news that it wasn't all that it seemed was nearly as intriguing as the fact the Doctor had left and later returned. ]
That... was not the response she'd been hoping for. Still, at least it shows that she's got his attention again-- to keep that attention she supposes she'll have to humour him with an answer.
"Oh, yeah. I was just as surprised as you are." That particular day isn't something she likes remembering, but she forces the image of the Doctor's TARDIS dematerialising in front of her to the front of her mind.
