Quick! Before it’s late!– Happy Birthday to the Fish-Prince!
(And he gets a flower crown from the group; because as much as they’d like to get him baubles, flowers are so much more convenient.)
If you found another crow +Anima and stood by them would it be an attempted murder?
Do you think Nana would look cute with pigtails?
“I think they’d look even cuter braided, too.”
“Cooro, what are you talking about?”
Happy birthday Cooro!!! ☼ August 3rd
((Thank you!! but bro, I only update once in a blue-moon... That’s really neat that you saw a Cooro cosplayer though. I’ve only seen 3, other than myself. Which con did you go to?
Cooro being creepy.
I’m not quite sure why I drew this, but I did. Unfortunately it doesn’t work for any of the asks I have on ask-cooro, haaa.
The crow looks at his warm soup, and then out to the boy who sat on the curb shivering, and then back to the soup again. Taking it with him, he gets up and walks out of the store and into the biting air outside. He crosses the street and steps up the the disheveled blond. "You need to eat." Arms extended- he offers his steaming bowl of soup.
Clutching his coat close to himself as if it’d stop the wind from blowing right through him, he slowly raises his eye to meet the others two-eyed gaze.
Staring at the bowl of soup offered, he looks back up at the boy’s face, studying it carefully.
“…A-are you s-su-sure..?” he asks through chattering teeth, his breath fogging and then fading in the winter air.
He doesn’t reach out for it yet, old memories acting as a restraint. In the past, kids would sometimes offer him food only to snatch it away last second to laugh at his saddened expression. It’d always leave him feeling like a fool. He doesn’t wish for any more repeats if he could help it.
Continuing to study him for a short while longer, he hesitantly accepts the bowl, his gaze downcast.
“T-thank you….”
The soup heats up his numb fingers and he stares down at it, allowing himself to relish in its warmth before bringing the rim to his lips and tilting it back. He doesn’t take his time in savoring the flavor and within moments, it’s gone.
He lowers the bowl and glances at the boy, a sudden thought occurring to him.
“Ah…I didn’t even ask for your name.”
A yellow booted foot taps at the ground absently and a small grin of satisfaction comes across the crow’s face as the other accepts the soup and chugs it down. He could remember days when he was like that- being stuck out in the cold and hungry. Thankfully, today is not that day. The fact that he was able to help another makes him feel warm inside and it’s a welcome feeling against the sting of the cool air. Rocking back and forth on his heels, the ebony haired child merrily chirps out his response to the other’s question.
“You’re welcome for the soup! My name’s Cooro!”
Cue a welcoming grin and outstretched red-gloved hand as is customary of the child’s habits when meeting someone new. Right hand offered, the crow continues on with his own inquiry, his words hanging in the air as little puffs of fog.
“What’s your name?” also…
The child’s arm slackens. “-And why are you outside in the cold when there’re a bunch of warm shops that would let you in if you asked?”
Given that he himself has been turned away numerous times… -but still, it’s worth asking.
“The feeling of longing.”
Valentines Day Verse: "Uhmm. Nana- I got you some flowers." The boy holds out a few tiny white daisies, a light blush dusts his cheeks. ((If this is ok. Hello!))
"Oh?" Her face became slightly rosy as well. She took the delicate flowers in her hands. "Thank you, Cooro," she smiled. "They’re really cute!" She reached up and tucked them into the ribbon of her hat. She glanced at the boy; had he seemed more…hesitant than usual? Her curiosity was piqued.
Cooro’s offer was too tempting to say ‘no’, especially being surrounded by all those wonderful smells of food that had increased her appetite as well ever since they stepped into that street. She just couldn’t resist freshly baked bread. Besides, they had made a good sum of money working at the last town.
"Sure, why not?" She took his hand, and he eagerly pulled her into the market.
”Great!”
He turns, taking her along with him, and merrily makes his way down the cobbled street. Nana’s small and warm hand fits snugly into his own, and the raven-haired boy’s chest inflates with glee.
There’s a warm glow radiating from the people around them and the boy loves the feeling. Why couldn’t they have holidays like this everyday? He jovially trudges past some of the many shops and people with his friend in tow. Couples and the older girls give the small pair odd and knowing glances as the two of them march past. Food stalls and window shops line the the bustling market, to the boy’s delight, some sold apples, others; pies, sandwiches, a variety of fruits, scones. The raven haired boy pulls the two of them right up to one of the fruit vendors and looks over the red fruit eagerly before plucking one from the stand and holding it up to the man behind the booth.
“Can I have this one?”
Despite the boy’s wide grin, the man tells him of the price so Cooro fingers through the pouch at his side and hands over the few coins for the apple. Bringing the fruit to his chest, the boy turns and merrily address his friend.
“Is there anything you want to buy, Nana?”
+Anima doodles from a live stream at midnight that should have never happened, I will surely regret it the morning.
The pictures are really nice though. I have a headcanon that Cooro and Nana braid each others hair. Also when Husky is bored he’ll stick things in Nana’s hair like twigs and leaves, sometime flowers.
I also drew this but it’s not +anima and deserved it’s own post -He is a mermaid (merman) though.
