How to Prepare for Your First Artist Alley

I did my very first artist alley at AOD2015! I did a lot of research beforehand to help prepare, but one thing that I thought was missing from all the articles and blog posts I read was a step-by-step guide from the perspective of a beginner. So, I decided to put one together myself! I’m not entirely sure if this is the right way of preparing, but this is what I did and it worked for me.

One Piece OC week masterpost

Hey ho! After some positive answers about OC week mentioned in the earlier post, we are having a tryout next week! You can join for a day or go full week, multiple OC are allowed too, it’s purely your choice! 

Original Characters are common in every fandom, and there is a decent section of role-players, writers, and artist who enjoy them and pour their heart out in stories revolving around them. By creating such a week for One Piece fandom is a nice way to spread support to that section of it too. 

So away with the themes for the week:

You are free to interpret those themes to your liking each day. Both drawn and written works are HIGHLY APPRECIATED no matter if it’s a sketch or short one-shot writing, the participation counts. The reason the event pops up is to give opportunity to everyone to share their work, highlight the OC that might be overseen and just spread the love around.
