Feelin’ kinda shy, but wanted your input.

So the husband and I agree that we’re going to get a Switch at some point in the future. No, it is not just because all of Bayonetta will be available on it (though that’s a huge plus for me personally), but mainly because there are several games that are available for the Switch that we think would make the purchase a reasonable, logical one.

That’s not what I’m mainly here to talk about though. I was thinking, since I haven’t played the second one yet still (I know, sorry), and I will be playing the third one whenever that comes out, should I do a live stream or a lets play of me playing it so we can have a little bit of that bonding experience together?

Again, I have no idea when this will happen (probably sometime after Christmas I would assume), but I’m feeling honestly a bit shy about the situation. I’m not sure anyone would be interested or if this is even a thing you guys would enjoy. I’m going to play the game regardless and I know I’m going to enjoy it, it’s mostly a matter of do you guys think it would be worth sharing the experience with everyone here?

I did some more research into the meaning behind “Whittingham Fair” and it’s the SAME SONG (or at least very close) to Scarborough Fair.

Scarborough Fair goes as follows:

“Are you going to Scarborough Fair?

Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme,

Remember me to one who lives there,

For once she was a true love of mine.”

And here’s Whittingham Fair:

“Are you going to Whittingham* Fair?

Savoury, sage, rosemary and thyme,

Remember me to one who lives there,

She once was a true lover of mine.”

I’ve talked before about how the guns and music that goes along with their naming has a lot to do with the plot of the game.

Here’s what someone said about the differences between the songs:

“The text of this version (Whittington Fair) is from Songs of Northern England (Stokoe) and has the same pedigree as its better known cousin, Scarborough Fair, both originating from Child Ballad no. 2 The Elfin Knight.”
