Dear kpop fans

When comes to saying the n word it doesn’t matter if ends with “er” or “a”. It doesn’t matter if it’s “nigga” or “nigger” or indirectly like “nizzle” it still the same fucking thing. The meaning still doesn’t fucking doesn’t change.

It’s NOT our responsibility to educate anybody racism and so on!

But when you ask us to explain to you why (insert offensive thing here) is wrong you get mad us then you disregard everything we said as “overreacting” and “oversensitive”.

Kpop fans can be antiblack too just like their fave kpop idols/groups can. I’m so over their bullshit excuses trying silence antiblack behavior.

This is just some comments that I read:

  1. “Black people say the n word all the time”
  2. “English is not their first language!”
  3. “They’re not American so stop bullying them”
  4. It’s not their fault it’s your faults for not educating them"
  5. “Blame (insert black artist) for putting in their songs and promoting it”
  6. “They already apologize so get over it”
  7. “stop bashing them it’s not serious”
  8. “Oversensitive much”
  9. “I feel like people are overreacting about this when it’s really nothing at all”
  10. “Black people call each other the n word all the time”
  11. “Stop bashing them because they didn’t know”
  12. “It was just a cover song”
  13. “The word was in the song and besides they didn’t mean it”
  14. “They may have said it but the thought didn’t come with it so it’s not really bad”
  15. “My black friends say nigga and nigger aren’t the same”
  16. “How about you educate them since you’re the ones getting mad”
  17. “STOP BASHING THEM THEY DIDN’T KNOW THE MEANING OF THE WORD OMG!”
  18. “Not everyone speaks English”
  19. “Maybe if you guys didn’t use it then other people wouldn’t either.
  20. “I have black friends and they said they don’t care people use it.”
  21. “Times have changed and we need to stop living in the past”
  22. “Racism no longer exist”
  23. “People are just getting mad for no reason”
  24. “Any excuse to hate”
  25. “People seriously need to calm down”
  26. “It’s really not that bad like grow up and stop acting like babies”

The list could go on forever.

FUN FACT: If it wasn’t for OUR music then kpop/khiphop wouldn’t exist. They make money off of OUR culture and then turn around and disrespect us. They want to be black so bad but they don’t want the problems that come with it.

The same shit you bash black people for is the same shit you praise kpop idols for doing. You can praise your faves all you want to but don’t forget where they got it from.

The Department of Marvelous Makeup is here to provide some inspiration for those of you still pondering what to be for Halloween next week. Corie Willet is a professional hairstylist in Quad Cities, IL, but in her free time she’s an awesome amateur body painter. Willet began experimenting with Halloween makeup just a few years ago and has a real knack for transforming herself into all sorts of fantastic pop art zombies, ghastly ghouls, ferocious monsters, vibrant animals, and this nightmarish homage to Futurama in the form of gruesome zombie Leela:

The Department of Astonishing Optical illusions can’t take their eyes off this latest creation by Italian fine-art-bodypainter Johannes Stötter (previously featured here). After a 4-hour-long design process, Stötter spent 6 hours painting two models to make them look like one vibrant and incredibly lifelike chameleon.

According to WB Productions: The models’ hair were covered in natural clay to make their heads appear bald. “The models were two sisters, friends of mine,” he said. “They were very happy to model for this motive. I am also very happy, it is kind of magic, especially the colors. Most people who already saw it say that the chameleon is even better than the frog and the parrot.”

(You can see the frog here and the parrot here.)

Our favorite part of this illusion is how the models worked together to bring the chameleon to life, making it appear as though the colorful reptile is carefully crawling along a slender green branch. They even parted their fingers in such a way to make their hands appear just like the lizard’s distinctive zygodactylous feet.

To get an even better look, click here to watch a video of the sisters walking their chameleon and then breaking the illusion by getting up from the platform upon which they’d been resting.

Visit Johannes Stötter’s website to check out more of his sensational creations.

Emma Fay Uses Contortionists To Create An Illusion of Shape In Body Painting Series

Twenty-seven-year-old British body artist Emma Fay introduces the latest project, the Marvels of Nature. The artist uses contortionists as her canvas, which add a surprising element to her body art. She uses extreme dislocations of the human physique to portray the marvellous traits of animals that evolution has endowed them with, including the unique shapes and sizes that push limits of the anatomy of both the subject and their frame.

Stunning Black Light Bodyscapes Part II by John Poppleton

American photographer John Poppleton’s (previously featured here) ingenious photography series Bodyscapes utilizes the human body as a canvas. With the help of a black light, Poppleton projects stunning landscape scenes composed of ultraviolet lightning storms, the cosmos, and mesmerizing starry nights among other settings.

Usually centered on a model’s back, the bodyscapes contain a sublime and cosmic quality, which is achieved by using temporary fluorescent materials painted on the skin. Each subject’s pose is modest for the use of intensifying the beauty of the natural landscapes’ imagery. Poppleton’s goal is to deliver a vibrant photograph in an unconventional means without detracting from the beauty of the concept.

Poppleton exclusively features nature’s most beautiful components: the universe and its Earthly landscape. The artist makes a meaningful and stunning connection between humankind and the universe. He reminds us simultaneously of the romantic idea that we are nature and stardust .
