Let's see. Dad's side: Grandpop Buck was an undertaker. (They made him a doctor during WWII because this was deemed close enough at the time.) (ALSO, I want you to know I went my entire life, well past the end of his, thinking that his actual name was "Buck" because he's from Texas and people are like that there, only to visit his grave on a family trip years later and find out that his name was Benjamin.) Mom-mom I believe worked as a secretary for a while, and his second wife, Grandma Jayne, was a stay at home kind of lady. Mom's side: I'm not actually sure what their professions were. I know Grandpa worked in the Empire State Building (not sure what he did) (he was a conscientious objector during the war but he still served as an ambulance driver in France). Grandma visiting the building because I believe her brother worked there, and she heard Grandpa's voice on the phone and decided he was The One. However, she had five kids to worry about and one of them was Uncle Bob, so she definitely did the most work out of any of them.

There's this one woman on Instagram who claims she finds all of her bones in the woods, but very obviously buys them and plants them there so she can shoot artsy foraging videos and it's so funny to me. You did not find ten perfectly cleaned mink skulls in suburban Ohio. You bought them on Wish and rubbed some dirt on them.

There is so much amazing about this. It's an archeological museum in 530 BCE or so. Also, the exhibits are labeled in three languages. Also they apparently had replicas on display for some things, much like modern museums do.

Humanity has not really changed that much, and some of the ways in which we haven't changed are really good.
