Yeah I’ve been seeing about this spike thing. Where do they expect homeless people to go if not live outdoor?? They are homeless. It’s fine if you can’t help but don’t make other people lives harder.

This is just horrible! This money should go into shelters and aid centers. But question, are there really that many spikes, or is this photoshopped? Also, if there really are that many spikes, how do people walk on what I'm assuming are spike filled sidewalks?

I have 2 male cats that are littermates who are approximately 2.5 years old. We adopted them at about 10 weeks, and had them both neutered at approximately 4 months old. Up to this point they've done everything together, they eat together (they have separate bowls), sleep together, play together, and groom each other. They have countless toys, even random articles around the house that aren't really toys that they play with. They have a 5 foot tall, 2 tiered kitty condo, plenty of places to be with each other, and plenty of places to be on their own. They have their occasional spat and wrassle with each other, but nothing gruesome.
2 days ago, at 5:30am (when they usually get breakfast) they started fighting, legitimately fighting. They were screaming at each other, tackling each other, growling, hissing, yowling, chasing each other around. It was frightening to witness. They didn't attack us when we separated them, but the beta male of the two spent the whole day in hiding, and crawled low to the ground when he came out for food/water/litter box.
Yesterday, again at 5:30am, they had another intense battle/stand-off. Again, the beta male of the two spent the day in hiding. The alpha male had a tuft of fur stuck in his claw, so I went to take it out like I usually do when I see this. However, this time the fur was stuck, and when I pullled he screamed at me and ran away. We grabbed him again. This time i had my mom hold him and push out his claw as if we were going to trim them. The tuft still wouldn't budge, he screamed and yowled, and I noticed the base of his nail was bloody. He had another tuft stuck on a different nail on the same paw. This tuft came off with a little force, but again the base of the nail was a little bloody. I've concluded that he pretty severely splintered both of those nails. The beta male seems relatively, physically unharmed.
Today, they fought in the morning at 5:30, and have been standing off with each other all day complete with hissing, growling, and tail puffing.
Why is this suddenly happening? Is there a such thing as "Terrible Two's" for cats???

Given this isn't Disney, but miles down the road at Sea World there was a squirrel that approached us while we were eating ice cream. We offered it a piece of our waffle bowl, and he took it with one hand, put it in his mouth, and gently placed his other hand on my hand. He did that cute little gesture every time we gave him a piece. He was a very polite squirrel.

My coworker NEVER cleans up after himself, and it aggravates me that I know it will stay messy unless I clean it up.
It's the simplest shit too. He leaves open/empty gauze packaging all over the taping stations, doesn't put bottles/tape/padding back where he got them from, and it basically looks like a bomb went off on our taping tables.
His desk is no better. He'll wipe his mouth on a piece of paper towel, and instead of throwing that in the trash, he puts it in his desk drawer. It's fucking DISGUSTING!
His wife must be a saint! I guarantee you, if he's this messy at work, it's probably not much different for his home life.

Have you heard of Ban Bossy? It’s the new initiative from Lean In and the Girl Scouts that’s trying to ban “bossy” and similar words that are used to bring down girls that are ambitious, take risks, and speak up. By changing the way we treat girls who lead, hopefully our generation will someday see more women in leadership roles.
I support this 100%, but I can't tell if my, albeit, mysogynistic, older brother made a good point: Confident women in leadership roles are called bossy/bitchy, but confident men in leadership roles are called dicks....I know according to the statistics listed above, women are held back because of these seeming derogatory labels, and men don't seem to be, but both terms for both genders could be seen as derogatory, but girls/women seem to take it more seriously.
