I found this edit on YouTube and it’s beautiful. It shows how much Suki has grown throughout the course of the show. She has learnt to accept and even begin to like herself now after fighting it for so long. This type of representation is so important to the lgbtq plus community, but also, the show does well at demonstrating diverse cultural attitudes as well.

Suki may not be the most likeable character and she’s made many mistakes in the past but she’s my favourite and I’m proud of her journey. Not to mention how her and Eve are absolutely adorable (I hope the show doesn’t mess that up).

You know, when she touched me, when she looked at me, when she was so close I could hear her breathing... I just had this overwhelming urge to wanna be with her.

Although there aren't nearly as many of them as in the past, daytime soap operas (at least those in the US) put out anywhere from 30 to 60 episodes per season. I'm not a fan of the genre, but I've got mad respect for the amount of work that's out into them.

I'm gonna preface this by saying I have gotten through the first 3 seasons but...

I think the reason everyone says Mulder and Scully relationship is so queer coded is because their story arc is so similar to so many queer relationships in media

We have two characters who have amazing chemistry, but the director won't let them get together. Everything is completely pLaToNiC for seasons upon seasons, and every little hint of affection is noticed and analyzed by the audience. Some of their dialogue is vague and mysterious but could be read to mean I love you and the audience eats that up

Anyway, the reason MSR is so gay is because their relationship plays out like most gay or potentially gay relationships in media

That and of course they're both queer

Suki Panesar + shouting it from the rooftops

STACEY: So yesterday you tell Eve that you've got feelings for her and now you're standing here with a suitcase. What, did you want her to go with you again?

SUKI: Just tell me where she is, Stacey.

STACEY: She has met someone who isn't ashamed of who she is. Someone she can hold hands with in public, kiss in a room full of people. She doesn't have to hide away. Something that you can't and never will be able to give her.

Harrison Ford hating playing Han Solo made him better at playing Han Solo because Han Solo did not want to be there doing those things either.

I can’t remember what talk show it was after TFA but the interviewer was like “Did it make you emotional putting on the [Han Solo] costume?” and Harrison Ford was like “No. It made me money.” which was like the most Han Solo thing a person could say.

the "came back wrong" trope except like... they didnt. like this mad scientists wife died, and so he studied necromancy, brought her back, and she came back and it all worked. like she came back exactly the same as she was before with literally no difference. but the scientist guy is like "oh no... what have i done.... shes Different now!!!! she came back Wrong!!!!" and shes just like. chilling. reading a book. cooking dinner. shes just so so normal but in the guys mind hes like "oh shes soooo weird" but shes just normal

While she was dead he put his memory of her on such a high pedestal that she could never live up to it alive

alternatively‚ she came back perfectly fine but he thinks she came back wrong‚ because the tragic reality is that he never actually knew his wife

im going INSANE thats MY POST.

It's your post but the journey to posting it changed it to such a degree that even its closest intimacies are now foreign to you. Sorry dude.
