thinking abt liam saying he felt safe in one direction. liam — who has openly talked about how his mental health deteriorated in the band, how physically and exhausted he felt so often, how the band made him agoraphobic for a period of time, how he struggled with alcohol abuse. that liam still felt safe in one direction and that sentiments resonates somewhere in my bones. because despite all the nonsense since the early days, all the name calling and bullying and literal death threats at times, one direction still made me feel safe. one direction was still a safe haven for me during my darkest times. you all make me feel safe and i wish i could articulate it better than this but i just… will always cherish this band forever. not to quote harry but i love you all so much ✨🌻
