Thanks for coming out and mingling with us tonight! We hope everyone who came out enjoyed themselves. Love getting characters together in a fun tavern rp environment just to shoot the shit, drink, and, have some fun over all!

Special thanks and shout-out to @rhilliainferniel for coming out and performing a lovely tribute to the fallen of Quel’Thalas . She really wowed us all with her stunning and emotional performance!

Emberfury Tavern Night - Saturday 4/1/2017 (6:30 PM ST) at the Ratchet Tavern!

OPEN HOUSE!

As of Wednesday, April 5th, the Library will begin holding Open House again from 5:00p - 7:00p server time.  What will be offered during this Open House presentation is thorough tour of the library hosted by the Head Librarian herself, a chance to have a library card made for yourself, a time to start arranging personal lessons for yourself if you’re seeking an active tutorship (whether in the magical arts, simple basic studies, or specialized subjects where other educators are involved), and even Apprenticeship.  

The library itself has tons of resources, such as a children’s area, writing rooms, lecture rooms, private study rooms, a lounge, and even a (shh!) dark magic study room (which is effectively kept under lock and key and you must present a valid ID upon when entering).

COMING EVENTS:

On Saturday mornings during the summertide, the Children’s Area is opened up to all patrons with a public reading from a beloved children’s classic that will be the focus of an entire week of study.  Arts, crafts, and even special little mini-events will be available for participation.

Poetry Alive! will also become a new event soon.  If you’d like to showcase your character’s poetry (or even your own -through- your character), more information can be found on the Poetry Corner tab on the Library’s tumblr.

CALLING ALL AUTHORS!  If your character has a published work that they’d like to share with the entirety of Silvermoon, look no further than the Silvermoon Library for your needs.  We’ll be more than happy to accommodate you with circulating your work to make sure it gets the recognition and reading it deserves.

Are you a new author looking to have your work published?  Seraliana Dhorinshyl, our head patroness, offers her printing press freely for publishing.  (We just ask that you have your works read and edited by another beforehand.)

Open House will start to occur regularly on Wednesday evenings at the above listed time unless conflicts arise.  If that happens, Open House will either be rescheduled or cancelled depending on staff resources.

Please mark this on your calendars as we’re looking to bring the Library back into a normal integration of everyday Silvermoon life.

A Matter of Correspondence

While the decorated Blood Knight courier had no trouble finding the Director at the Emberfury’s headquartered location in Dalaran, Asharri seemed to have some trouble believing that the letter addressed to her was in fact for own viewing. After observing the waxy seal of the Phoenix Guard with a puzzled look, she immediately felt some mixed feelings begin to stir up within her, and found herself unable to conceal the quickly forming frown that began to weigh upon her expression.

Regardless, she remained quite professional, gave the courier a polite incline of her head, closed the door, and, quietly retreated upstairs to read the contents within the safe confines of her makeshift office. As per the usual, Asharri skipped the bulk of the letter’s message first to see from whom the correspondence was from, to find Knight-Lord Dawnblade’s seal just as she had remembered it.

Letter to Director Lakefire

This letter is sent to Asharri by a Blood Knight courier, who is fully armored and speaks very little, if not at all. The letter itself is stuffed in an envelope with the Knight-Lord’s seal, which is put in another envelope that is stamped with the Phoenix Guard’s wax seal. It’s almost frighteningly official.

Had a great time roleplaying tonight with some of my guild mates at our monthly promotional dinner and briefing. When your men and women are sometimes stretched far and wide with one common goal aligned, anytime you can get together with a fellow member to feast around a roaring fire is a good time to be had and sorely needed in times such as these!

Getting everyone ready for the revival and continuation of our story-line, Rising Tides. Here we will be entering into the second chapter next weekend!

Silithus Expedition: 2/25

Event Briefing:

Another Legion portal may have been discovered outside of the Broken Isles. This time, it has been discovered deep in Silithus; threatening the sanctity of the Cenarion Hold and a known Reliquary outpost. Emberfury members have been tasked with tracking down its precise location underground and break the barrier protecting its entrance - while additional forces arrive.

A Reliquary agent was said to have stumbled upon this discovery within the ruins of Southwind Village. Her communication was severed not long after the report was made and she was never heard from again. The remnants of her communication pendant were found crushed into the dirt not far from where last communication was given. A few attempts were made in recovering the missing agent, but to no avail.

Their findings have located a tunnel heavily guarded by unseen forces protecting its entrance and crude runic markings of dark magics scrawled about. Demonic forces have been seen during the nighttime hours, but no reports have been made of any daytime sightings.

It is unclear what their motive is so far out, but anything burrowing underground is always cause for bad news; especially in this part of the world. Could there be more going on out here outside of the Legion’s threat? Surely there was something more foul at play!

Event Summary:

The Emberfury Offensive located the pin-pointed location and discovered an access way leading underneath Southwind Village. Heavily guarded, they drew the ire of the ghosts still roaming the area and ultimately, faced the Legion’s threat. To their horror, not only had three felguards rushed in for attack - but a massive silithid infused with fel energies; giving it an even darker twist than ever before.

The encounter left some with minor injuries, as holding off the Legion’s small force proved more difficult. Reliquary members and other reinforcements arrived only moments after the creatures had been slain, working easier to bring down the barrier and eliminate the threats within. The Emberfury were then dismissed for their part in the encounter, and a proper message had been delivered to Magistrix Brightfall on the fate of the missing agent and success in vanquishing the portal location.

Bits and pieces of the missing Reliquary agent were discovered and collected for proper burial.

Mission Status:

Successful.

It was fun. I see a bright future with this guild. Great personalities. All of them. Now I just need to make a tumblr for Venrome’s son who I am now having as my main. Also I’m like 99.9% sure my followers are all inactive since I haven’t been too active on meeting the new faces that populate the community. 

Recruitment Temporarily Closed

As a friendly heads up, we will be closing recruitment for a temporary time effective immediately. We have experienced an explosive growth and are now working on getting our current members up to speed with the guild-wide storyline and other events. We do plan to reopen our doors in the coming next months - but for now, we have halted all recruitment.

Who Are We?

The Emberfury Offensive is an adventure/military themed RP guild on Wyrmrest Accord. Our structure makes up varied races of the Horde and other allies who stand together with a common goal to strengthen our forces and protect our own. We travel far and wide to answer whatever call that beckons us, and will stop at nothing to defeat those who dare stand in our way!

Currently, we find ourselves scattered in various areas of the Broken Isles; doing everything we can to put a stop to those who want nothing more than to destroy our world. As we focus our efforts on combating the Legion’s forces, we also find ourselves at odds with the Alliance. If you have what it takes to rise up and make a stand, we need you!

Not well-versed in combat? No problem! We still have use for you! Our history boasts a variety of skill that we are proud to say is contracted heavily from far and wide. Stop into one of our headquartered locations today to find out more.

OOC Info:

The Emberfury Offensive is a medium-RP/PvE guild that is back from hiatus! We were inactive during WoD, but we have an extensive history on WrA and we are proud to call it home. 

While we do many things outside of the realm of RP. Questing. PvP. Exploring PvE content - our main purpose will always be for the story of the guild and its characters.  We have a bit of a casual vibe at times, but we do expect our members to possess some knowledge of accurate Warcraft lore and be familiar with the mechanics of role-play, as well as general game mechanics. While we are not opposed to brand new players with an interest in RP and what the game has to offer, they must come in with an interest in learning the ropes and bring in a good attitude.

How to Join:

While we do not have an application process we are using at this time, those interested in joining us should message the GM and/or officers. We will conduct a quick OOC interview with you that way you can see if you are compatible with us and vica versa. 

New members will sit at our <Unproven> rank for at least three weeks to a month before being promoted into full membership. This gives you time to get to know us and us you. And yes, alts are welcome to join us.

Our guild page is encouraged, as well as our tumblr, but not required. These are here as valuable tools to use to keep up to date with RP, and other activities going on within the guild. They are also good tools to use to get to know your fellow member when in-game may be more difficult for you to spread your wings.

The Emberfury Offensive Lore

Prior to the events surrounding Deathwing’s return, The Emberfury Offensive was founded under the original name it was most noted for in its time. Once predominately used for the interests of the Sin’dorei people for securing safe routes and the delivery of needed supplies from base to base, the Lakefire Coalition has expanded in name and direction over the years to encompass the needs of its Horde allies while sticking to its already established roots during its transitions. It has not only allowed other Horde races to seek opportunity within its structure, but works hard to maintain strong ties with them as well.

Headed by now retired Farstrider Captain, Asharri Lakefire, the Emberfury Offensive exists not only as a trader’s resource, but a structure firmly built on versatility to suit the many needs that continue to arise on Azeroth and beyond.
