Just wondering if there is any difference in the two Orlando shows. I want to buy for both days, but I know I shouldn't.
Different local opener on each night - might try to switch up the sets a little bit ;)
It's been a taxing journey, but Abendrot is finally out. This record is our labor of love, and we've been very, very lucky to have had the company we have — on all levels. It would certainly mean a lot to us if you listened, and if you so pleased, purchased. Here is where you can find it. Thank you. Do you guys re-set up your guitars per tuning? Or have a guitar for each alternative tuning you guys use? I was chatting with a guitar center employee who was spewing all this stuff about how I needed to re-set up my floating bridge fender strat for each tuning I wanted to use. What's that about? I love alt. tunings.
Tanner, Trev and I usually use two guitars live to avoid any lengthy tuning breaks. We'll stick with the same guitar if we're just dropping the pitch of one string. You'll notice that making big jumps in tuning might take a minute as the tension of each string effects the pitch of the others. There really aren't rules for the way anyone plays or sets up their guitars, it's a personal preference deal, but yeah, if you're planning on going through multiple tunings on the same guitar, you're not going to have an instrument that's perfectly intonated. - Andy
what do I have to do to talk you into playing in the SF Bay Area? Also, how much would it take for you to play for my graduation/various other celebrations party in the same general area around August?
Not too much. We make it a point to stop in the bay area on every full US tour. And typically, it’d probably take an ice cube and jar of peanut butter (crunchy), but we’re on a looong break from playing shows right now.- Tan
