we are relieved to announce, we'll be releasing our new record "Fermata Supreme" on October 28th, 2014 as an independent band. (please read all of this status, important updates) you can pre-order the digital/vinyl here: http://cloudgavin.bandcamp.com/ we've been working on this for the past two years and have been really critical to what kind of material is going into this and how it will be perceived.  we really hope you see this record as growth in Cloud Gavin, because this is everything we've been developing into the past couple years. we feel this album will represent us much more efficiently than our past records and is exactly what we want to be as a band. we've been working with fantastic engineers on this record, such as Lane Johnson from Glow In The Dark Studios (Manchester Orchestra, Lydia, etc.), Mike Watts from VuDu Studios(The Dear Hunter, As Cities Burn, The Junior Varsity, etc.) and Emily Lazar from The Lodge(Brand New, Balance and Composure, mewithoutYou, etc.) needless to say, the quality from this album will be supreme compared to our older material. as an independent band, we've been paying for all of this ourselves. we've spent over $10,000 on costs for recording, mixing, mastering, vinyls, etc. the only thing we ask of you is to give the whole album an honest chance. listen to this album from start to finish with your undivided attention, preferably in a dark room, on a long night-drive, out in the woods, the places where you've actually let one of your favorite albums manifest into a part of you, like I have with many albums I love. if you feel that this album is for you, purchasing a copy digital/vinyl/etc. would help us get out of the debt we've put ourselves in for the sake of the preciseness and care taken and put into this album. but, we only ask that if you want to buy it, not because we are asking you. and, of course, word of mouth is almost king, we welcome you to share it with anyone you'd feel that would appreciate it. we know all too well that our music isn't for everyone, but are completely grateful for everyone that has showed us support for the past four years. to see this album succeed would mean so much to us. you can expect new music in September. sorry that it will take that long, but we promise it will be worth the small wait, compared to the past 2 years we've been anticipating this. thank you.
