I'm curious. Reblog this if you know how to cook

I don’t even care if it’s macaroni, ramen or those little bowls you stick in the microwave. Please, I need reassurance that most of the population on tumblr WOULDN’T STARVE TO DEATH if their parents couldn’t fix them food or they couldn’t go out to eat.

Wait, how is it that Legolas could walk over snow, yet fingolfin’s host had elves that fell through the ice when they were walking on the grinding ice?

And don’t say “magic” because i’m asking why it’s not consistent. Either elves are light enough or something to not fall into snow, much less ice, or they are heavy enough to fall through snow/ice.

I don’t care about the explanation, but it has to be either/or, or there needs to be a specific reason why one does work and the other doesn’t.

If the ice cracks, not because of their weight but because it is shifting/grinding (alreadycracked), then they would fall through.

Another thought could be that they fell through not because of their own weight, but the weight of all that they were carrying.

One could assume, if you are carrying your whole life on your back, or hauling it behind you, it doesn’t matter if you at light enough to not fall through…. Your things are going to take you down.

Plus One Singular Elf who's traveling light anyway vs multiple in a group that are most likely huddled together in an attempt to preserve heat, that also adds even more weight even if elves are "light"

size (Miston to Duilin)

size, sender measures the size of their hand against receiver’s.

"Valar," Duilin laughed, pressing their hands together and then closing his fingers, lacing them together. "I have much spindly fingers, don't you think? Good for the bow, not so much for showing off."

"I don't think mine fare much better, being a dagger wielder," Miston said, a soft smile curling over his face as their fingers were intertwined. "... Your hands are really warm, in a comfortable way."

"You're my best friend, you know that?" ((idk Miston's feeling sappy today apparently)

"Miston," Beleg nudged him gently, "You're my best friend too. I don't know what I'd do without you. Have much less fun, I think."

"Oh you'd definitely have less fun without me. And you would probably get yourself killed somehow if I didn't look out for you," Miston laughed.
