Angelic giggles as he looks over. "You enjoyed it." He does a small pose for the other. "I am glad to here that. I had made sure I put my family genes to good use, just for you."

With his gun aimed at the others and finger not on the trigger yet, Menenius hissed out but his ears perking up once he heard Ra as he glanced back. "You always arrive in the nick of time? Or do you like the dramatics?" Looking back ahead, Menenius breathed out as he then nodded more as he started backing up slowly to the hyur. "But yes....your assistance would definitely be helpful....."
“If we were on a Castrum’s grounds, then I would have gotten one of Lyon’s beast eat the corpse to hide the fact that anyone was killed….or ask either Sartauvoir or Albeleo to use their fire to make sure the body was turned to ash.” Granted a cruel way to deal with a body but it had been enough for him and no one said anything, plus Lyon never complained since he claimed that his carnivores got fresh meat of sorts. But sadly, they weren’t at the Castrum, he was a guest for Ra and had very little authority since he’s suppose to be on his best behavior. Ugh, what a mess right? And there goes his idea of exercising outside since it was actually quite nice today, but perhaps he’ll do it at the stables since Dawon and the rest of the griffins would be there.
As he heard Ra speak up, Menenius then tilted his head as he raised an eyebrow to the other since was that not suppose to be a compliment? Was his own silver tongue or whatever he had not worthy? “As a former intelligence officer turned spymaster, I would say that you would have made the Assassin’s that I used to work with proud since they all had silver tongues as well.” Heading inside as well before taking a glance around the outside to make sure no one else lingered, Menenius then closed the door as he then walked along side Ra.
“So what’s the plan from here? Would you like me, lyon and pagaga to lay low for a bit until you get things settled? Or is there a way that I can help?”
“If you were at Castrum, everyone would be at their throats, blood and bodies on the floor, and we would not be getting anywhere.” Ra replies simply. And he would have to be fighting the other, something he cared not to do if possible.
“I care not to deceive and mislead people if by all means possible. I care not to use nor manipulate people. It...makes me uncomfortable.” The elder replies softly.
Silent for a moment, the hyur like man perks up. “Oh and the gun if you will. " Ra turns and holds out his hand "Best to keep this little detail out of any future conversations if able, for both our sakes." Be offered help however, he raises a brow. “Actually...” Taking the gun, he nods. “I may have.” Looking up at the building, he nods before looking at Menenius. “You done guard duty before have you not? Even escorts?” This may be the time to set them on the other. After all, if he was to be doing these meetings, he needs more hands on deck. And in return, they could be no safer.

Before Menenius could even respond to Lyon, suddenly the bed got a lot lighter as he then heard his footsteps before the door opening and closing, making the younger be aggravated with himself. He really did fuck up….. he knew it was selfish of him to even suggest it, especially with all the trouble they currently gone through the past few months. Maybe they would be better off just dating each other and being lovers since perhaps that would be less of a headache for them both. But seriously…..he needed to ask Ra for other options since he nearly lost Lyon once, he wasn’t about to go through that a second time as he decided to stay in the clothes he was wearing. ————- currently —————–
“Hmmm, that tends to happen a lot with me as well. More than I could count really.” Well mostly when he was a Rem but still about the same in a way, it was less when he was a Sas. But upon being asked, Menenius blinked as he nodded gently, granted it was a bit of a toss and turn with not having Lyon to keep him company but it was still sleep none the less. “After all that happened yesterday, it was surely needed. And yes….we still need to talk about a lot of things but overall, it really is nice to have him back.” And for once, the snake was being truthful to a point, but with his ears picking up on what Ra was saying, Menenius chuckled a bit as he gave the other male a gentle smile before sipping more of his water.
“Hmmmm, I know that feeling all to well…. meetings most of the day and not knowing when they ended. Part of me misses it and the other part is enjoying more of my free time per say.” He did have a lot more free time recently and just keeping himself occupied wasn’t a problem but he missed working on his machines or honestly paperwork, anything to keep his mind occupied. And speaking of his mind, Menenius might as well ask since now or never right? “If I may ask Ra, after last night, I realized that I….forgive me, this must sound rather cheesy to you but, I realized that despite your protection, it can only extend so far for the two of us including Pagaga. However my main question is….is there a way to make sure that we’ll never get separated or to know that we’ll be together by each others side from here on out?”
He needed to know since he didn’t want marriage to be the only option for this….to keep them from being apart as they had been.

Ra tilts his head a bit more. “Oh?” Curious. He was wondering if he should ask what he means by that but...he lets the other decide for himself if he wanted to do so. Still, at least it sees Menenius was less on edge, and well to have his co-worker nearby. “That is good news...good news indeed.” Looking away and at the doors, the elder sighs. ”Hopefully you will be able to cover all that you both want in due time...” Tilting his head once more, Ra things over everything that has happened last night.
“Indeed, but what is needed to be done, is needed to be done, and must not be left unattended...”Going quiet, he listens to Menenius’ words and raises a brow before looking over curiously. This was to be expected, but for it to be worded as it was, and for the elezen to call the question cheeses... “How is that cheesy, it is a reasonable thing to ask after all that has happened no? Why would you not wonder about your futures, and your futures with those you worked with so long and is clear that you care for each other?” Quiet for a moment, he looks away. “To answer your question, there is no need. You will be safe under my charge, worry not...but...that will be easier said then done no? But have faith if able in my words.”
Peeking over, he spots Angelic who was still for a moment, staring at back at him, before his own golden hues looks away.

Regis pulls away sharply, the look he gives Angelic concerned and stern. He was rather bold to just up and touch him the way he had done, unprompted and such an unwelcomed intimate way.
“If you fancy keeping both hands, I’d refrain from doing such again.” He’d never call for someone to be mutilated for such actions, but he couldn’t say Clarus would afford them any mercy.

And there it was. Letting his hands drop, Angelic moves his head about as if looking about the ground and sides, dark sunglasses hiding his eyes ever movement, to hear such words, the much smaller figure frowns and shrugs before adding a bow at the end.
“Of course, I understand all to well...Your Majesty...” Not raising himself, he stares at the dark floor in thought. Why did he agree to this? Coming here? After everything? Why? It was a loosing battle no? And yet? Wasn’t the answer just as simple as the answer to his actions just now? Because why not? Because he can. “However, I would suggest better guards, or at least more, hmmm...Oh...and when able, rest.” Backing off slowly, it was here Angelic straightens up.
He grabs the boy’s wrist before he can be prodded, merely glancing at him out of the corner of his eyes, not even bothering to turn his head. “There are far better, more respectful ways of getting my attention. This better be something important or I’ll have you running laps around the citadel until you collapse.” He applies a bit of pressure to Angelic’s wrist as a sort of silent warning.

Having his wrist grabbed, the younger looking male doesn’t flinch, but instead he stares at his wrist in thought. Yep, saw that one coming a mile away. Still, could be worse he guesses. Looking over at the other speaks, he says nothing for a moment. Not wrong... And yet... he did so anyway, for what reasons, he cannot say. “Aye...her Mistress the Oracle, hmmm, her Lady asks me to search the outer skirts of the city... With offered suggestions from one of her maid servants, she did.” Angelic’s voice was soft and a bit uncomfortable from the pressure. Though he agreed to help as a hired guardsman, or swordsman, hard to say once more, did not mean he will not test the fire is he sees fits. “Aye... Mayhap you noticed a great stirring within the city, restless as it is, hmmm...” He adds with a whisper.

“…It is…going well at the moment…Can’t complain all that much…” Staring at the ground, he slowly raises a slender heavily tan hand and stares at it in thought. “Do I?…” That was good to know…
Slowly, he lowers the hand and stares into the distance in thought.
The mention of Bahamut makes him frown. “Plans?…” He has plans, did he? Interesting… “Usually works that way, they can only do so much without a bit of help from fate and death… or life… depending what the outcome is to be…”
Crossing his arms, Angelic nods. A reason why he was glad to be retired, and glad he wasn’t Death of this domain… Of this reality… Still…seems that Fortunis was unamused by it all. “Take it you are not impressed…”
“To fix the scourge yes. A messy theatrical one that’s going to end in a lot of dead mortals,” He sighed. “I’m going to miss the flowers that go extinct.”
He sighed, smiling at Angelic’s observation.
“No not particularly.” He admitted. “If anything, I might let one of my messengers give them some hints. No active help of course! But maybe enough that they will be prepared for the long dark.”
The scourge... Frowning, Angelic looks to the side as he holds himself for a moment. So, they plan to bait it out using a sheep?... Interesting... And yet... cruel... Looking over a bit, brows scrunch up at such words. “That will be the least of your concern, but understandable nevertheless...”
Undoing himself, the Titan’s arms drop to his side.
“A helper? Playing from the side lines are you?” The elder waves at this. “And you think the others will take well to it?” From what he has see, some of the Astrals did not have the best tempers. “But whatever, if you say so.” Shrugging, he turns away in thought. “I’ll just be watching then, see what happens...”

how to fix broken notifications
i see @rpschtuff made a post explaining the glitch, and @shinsources posted a work around by subscribing to threads. this does get the job done, but it can be tedious and it doesn't work all posts. i actually had this no-notifications glitch some weeks ago and emailed tumblr about it, and staff walked me through an actual solution.
anyways. here's how you fix it:
- open the tumblr app on your phone
- go to account settings
- then click notifications
- enable conversational notes
and that's it. now you should get notifications on your activity page both on mobile and desktop.
as annoying as the tumblr app may be please please please this a try! it might be annoying having to log in to all 64,861,523,514,831,465 of your blogs just to do this. because, for some odd reason, CONVERSATIONAL NOTES is turned off by default. not only that but enabling CONVERSATIONAL NOTES can only be done via app. so please reblog and spread this around.
