Why don’t you like animal activists ?

I don’t like animal rights activists. ARA terrorist groups like PETA, HSUS, and their supporters view the domestication of animals as slavery. The end goal of these organizations is to end domestication permanently and make the world their upper middle class privileged (and mostly white, let’s be real) vegan utopia. They see death as being better for animals than living in a mutually beneficial relationship with humans. Proper animal welfare, such as providing enrichment for dogs by giving them jobs that are naturally enjoyable to them, is viewed as abuse. It’s not just agriculture and livestock keeping they’re after, it’s your pet dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, rodents, etc.

These groups throw tons of money around to get BSL, animal sports bans, and vaguely worded animal abuse laws put in to place that they can then bend to their own needs. They pretend to be fighting for animals, but in reality they more often than not are actively harming them. ARAs literally break laws all the time terrorizing people, trespassing, stealing animals, setting up angry protests outside people’s homes to harass them, and they just write it off as being for the good of the animals and therefore okay. Don’t be fooled by that BS. These groups are founded and led by bad people with bad motives, and they and their supporters should not be given any platform to speak or spread their BS.

HSUS literally named themselves to confuse people into thinking that they are connected with actual humane societies so they could poach donations meant for animals in need. They take this even further with manipulative advertising featuring “sad” or scared looking animals, often behind bars or in kennels. Despite their name and advertising they do not run ANY shelters, and only about 1% of their recieved donations go to support shelters. Additionally, multiple HSUS executives have had to step down because of sexual harassment accusations. In 2014 they were sued for racketeering and paid out a hefty settlement. HSUS senior management has stated support for ALF – an actual terrorist group – on multiple occasions. Oh, and they endorse dog fighting.

PETA has monetarily supported actual eco-terrorist groups like ALF and has even been investigated by the FBI for terrorist activity themselves because of it. They consistently euthanize upward of 70% of the pets they intake, and most of these animals are euthanized within 24 hours of intake according to a state investigator who performed an inspection of their facility and intake records. PETA also supports the complete banning and destroying of all “pit bull type” dogs and has actively pressed for and backed up BSL. Of course, in all actuality they support the banning and destroying of all pets given that their end goal is to get rid of domestication entirely.

Oh, and ARA exposure videos from dairies and slaughterhouses that people love to use as vegan propganda are usually set up by the ARAs themselves, meaning they are the ones harming animals or purposefully not reporting bad treatment that would otherwise be punished just so they can catch it on film and lie about it being “normal” abuse in the industry. And their make-the-world-vegan shtick is some super classist, ableist bullshit. Not to mention I see them casually being anti-Semitic all the damn time by comparing animals to victims of the Holocaust.

So yeah fuck ARAs. In my opinion they’re all terrorists, whether the government labels them so or not.

Animal welfare, though? I’m all about that. 👍
