Reminder NOT to post Voltage social app CGs

Up till today I am seeing many people posting social app CGs. In fact, I’m starting to see more of such posts. Please bear in mind that it is prohibited to post social app CGs online. This applies to both the Japanese version and English version of Voltage social apps. You can find Voltage’s announcement regarding this terms & conditions inside all of Voltage’s social app games.

Unlike its paid counterpart, Voltage has stated very clearly that all social app CGs are forbidden to be shared. It doesn’t matter if you uploaded a screenshot of a CG, it’s ultimately still the same: you are still sharing a CG. You are also not allowed to post mass screenshots of any route, including paid apps.

If everything is so readily found online then what’s the point of playing and buying routes? It’s potentially causing Voltage a lot of money with how these are being shared so freely.

Perhaps with the whole recent Voltage saga over, many have forgotten how hard they cracked down on us? Not everyone got hit but they definitely came down hard. Despite that, they were actually being kind to us. If Voltage Japan had things their way, we wouldn’t even just get away with a warning: they would have terminated our blogs. They have been more lenient with the international fandom and I feel like we’re taking it for granted.

Do not post social app CGs and/or mass screenshots online. Don’t do it for fame, don’t do it to gain followers. It’s not cool; you’re doing something illegal. And if things start to go out of hand again, I dread that one day it might cause Voltage to crack down on us again. It won’t be pretty, and I’m very sure the people affected won’t enjoy it either.
