im going to be honest i dont think its healthy for 13/14/15 year olds to be growing up on twitter and categorizing every aspect of their existence into an easily digestible bio or post that needs to be shared somehow

like besides the “technology is bad thomas edison was a witch” argument i think theres worth in criticising social media. corporations make sales off of pretending to be quirky and relatable while teenagers with over 10k followers get into discourse bc people think they owe them something….like i was on deviantart and youtube when i was 11/12 but it really scares me seeing 12 year olds now having to commodify themselves. its not healthy lmao
i often wonder how many ppl from 2012 tumblr are still active on here
