I Made $750 For Nothing
I need a transition and also to not be in abject poverty
I too require money.
would like some money plz
reblogging bc after I saw this last time I found out that I haven’t been getting my orphan’s benefit because of an administrative issue, not because I no longer qualify, and got a whole year of back pay
Reblogging because I just got a letter in the mail that there is still some money in my 401k from the job I got pettily fired from and so I’ll be getting somewhere around $650 dollars, thereabouts, in about a month. I MEAN WHAT. Witches of Tumblr, my hat is off to you.
A little bit of James Wilby’s perfect face as Maurice (James Ivory, 1987), for @videoshanty…
‘I was very insecure when I’d [just] done A Room With A View, ’cos it was my first [real/feature] film and, um, I remember going up to James [Ivory] afterwards and saying, “I’m really sorry for that really godawful performance [as Freddy Honeychurch].” And he said, “No no no, it’s fine, it’s good, it’s alright, it was OK.” And then the next night, the next week, I think, he asked me to do Maurice, which made me feel better then!’

A Room with a View (1985)
A little bit of James Wilby news!
James is one of the four leads in The Swing of It, a crowd-funded comedy short that’s been filming in suburban north London this spring and is now in post-production.
The Swing of It sounds a LOT of fun – especially with this great cast (Amanda Donohoe as James’ wife!, plus Brit-movie veteran Phil Davis, best-known on Tumblr as ‘the cabbie from Sherlock/Different for Girls’) – on a subject, middle-aged sexuality, close to many of us (*cough*) – so I really hope we get to see it! Or, better still, an extended version (though the crowd-funding call seems to have closed).
The Swing of It has a Facebook page (source of the cast-and-crew photograph above). There’s also an interesting pitch video by the makers on www.indiegogo.com and Vimeo.
In other James news, The Sense of an Ending (Ritesh Batra, 2016), adapted from the acclaimed novel by Julian Barnes, narrowly missed selection for the official competition section at the upcoming 2016 Cannes Film Festival. James’ role is currently unknown – but, with Michelle Dockery, Edward Holcroft, Jim Broadbent, Harriet Walter and Charlotte Rampling in the main cast (London Spy reunion alert!), and solid (BBC and CBS) backing, this is a film we WILL get to see.
Ooooooh how exciting!!!

I envy how this man is 52 years old and acts like a 9 year old. I hope when I get that old I can be as kind and adorably confused and fun.
