Watching The Beastmaster on an old TV is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. I forgot how much fun this movie is!

There are so many beautiful Emma & Scott moments throughout the Uncanny X-Men run, but I think a personal favorite is when they are in the savage land in Uncanny X-Men #495. It’s so intimate, raw, and sweet. I love these two!

X-Men: Divided Part One

I agree! While there were issues with how the relationship started, I really enjoyed these two together more than I ever did Scott and Jean.

Revisiting What If...? This morning. This series is so good!

I hung all of my space ships on the wall over my book case this week. Just when I think I can't geek any harder, I out-geek myself.

My first Grandson will be born this month. He's gonna love his Papa's room.

When the interwebs shows you a collapsed storage unit like yours and you decide to cut your weight per cube by 50% to protect your books.

Honestly, it gave me a great place to store some figures alongside the books without covering up the spine art. I love how it turned out!

In 1987 my family left Nigeria for R&R in London. My folks gave me a little bit of money to spend at Hamleys Toy Store. I spent some of that money on the first Ultra Magnus Transformer. When R&R was over and we returned home, thieves at the airport stole our luggage and I never got to enjoy that figure.

Flash forward 34 years and I saw this Ultra Magnus on the shelf at Walmart. The decision was an easy one and it quickly went into the cart.

Oddly enough, I don't have a blacklight in this room. You wouldn't know it by the way these two are glowing.

*adds blacklight to wishlist

Does anyone else remember this absolutely ridiculous action figure from the 80s? A blue He-Man with matching orange hair & Skeletor armor? I was so intrigued by Faker as a kid, I couldn't pass up this re-release. I think the retro Trapper Keeper makes for a pretty cool backdrop, if I do say so myself.

MOTU: Revelation, Part 1 (Spoilers)

I find it incredibly fucking childish that several He-Man fans are throwing a big ol fanboy tantrum because they're actually DOING SOMETHING with the MOTU-verse for a change instead of repeating the same episodic formula over and over and over again.

Oh, I'm sorry...you wanted to see He-Man fighting Skeletor? Watch the trailer on repeat. That's as good as it gets. The first episode provides about everything you could ever hope for on that front.

The point here is that there's a LOT that's going on in the MOTU-verse that never got screen time or development because He-Man and Skeletor always hogged the episodes. Like, Teela was always one of the most interesting characters with a super secret backstory, but the episodic nature of the show necessitated that she always remain in the dark about it. And for some reason they didn't want her to know Adam's secret. Maybe it had something to do with her kind of being his love interest and it maintained suspense if she was always almost learning the truth, but not. I dunno, but I always thought it was dumb.

Yeah, I saw He-Man 2002. It was pretty good. But honestly this is better...or maybe this is a good continuation of He-Man 2002. I don't care if Teela getting a haircut and a level up in badassery is too "woke" for you. Yeah she's ambiguously bi with a cute girl friend/"friend". It doesn't affect anything story-wise so why should you care?

You've got the best versions of all the characters in this show. Evil-Lyn could carry this show all on her own. It's all the same stuff from the original, but like twice as cool. The writers clearly know the original MOTU and wanna build on that base. The characters still say stupid puns and like alliterative insults but it works because that's just how Eternians be.

Tri-Klops started a techno cult. Cool! Beast-Man hearts Evil-Lyn. Dawww. Mer-Man is pissed cause he's overlooked. Aww. King Randor's a douche and that's...really accurate. And Orko. Screw Orko, normally I'd say, but the lil shit finally gets a satisfying character arc here and good for him. I even like Cringer in this and I never like Cringer.

And you really thought that He-Man and Skeletor wouldn't come back at some point after the first episode shook up the status quo? C'mooon. Seriously?

This is a version of MOTU with actual stakes because there's no guarantee that things will go back to normal at the end of the episode. A decaying, changing world. Life and death in the balance. I don't see how you couldn't love that.

Now that I'm thinking about it, this show was clearly made for me, the girl who wanted more stories centered around the female MOTU characters, and just found She-Ra too pastel and cute to enjoy. Lol screw the rest of y'all.

YES! 1000% YES!!!

Earlier this year my kids got me the Lego Art Iron Man. It looks great on its own...but it can be better.

I bought the light kit from Lightailing. It's power by USB and looks fantastic! #Lego #LegoArt #IronMan #Lightailing

Typical Saturday morning. Anyone else wanna bring their action figures over and watch Star Wars?
