Hi I just found this blog and I have a bunny that looks just like Jordy! So cute! How old is he?

Aww. What is his/her name? :) Jordy will be 10 months old on April 26.

To go along with the post from a few days ago, here is a picture of Jordy’s crate. My goal is to eventually build him a shelf to provide more hopping/lounging space. It’s also messy in this picture because it was taken in the morning -- I clean it up every night before we go to bed!

I'm thinking about getting a bunny and I was wondering how you set up your crate and play pen, any suggestions?? thank you!!

Hey there! I just did a big cleaning in Jordy’s pen so I took a picture to share. You can see his water bowl, pellet bowl, litter box, salad tray, grass mat, pine cone, willow ball, paper towel tubes, a few other toys, and the cardboard box in the middle that he loves to hop up onto. There are also holes cut in the sides so he can go inside for some privacy. The cardboard box measures 16x16x16 inches to give you an idea about the size of his pen. This is where he spends most of his time when he’s not running around the house.

Jordy honestly spends very little time in his crate that‘s in my bedroom. It’s a large dog crate with room for his litter box, water bowl, pellet bowl, a smaller stick house that he never uses, and some toys. His hay rack also hangs above the litter box. He only goes in there when we leave the house and he will be alone for long periods of time.

My biggest suggestion would be to provide as much space and stimulation as possible. I wish Jordy could run around our house freely all the time, but right now it’s not an option. So I’m doing the best I can for him!

I hope this helps!

Hello everyone!

I know the pictures have been few and far between lately. My grandfather passed away a week ago, so I’ve been spending time with my family, dealing with the loss, and so on. But now I should be back to taking and posting pictures again. Thank you for understanding!

As far as Jordy is concerned, he’s doing well as always. He and my other pets have been a great support during these last few emotional months.
