okay like I had to make Tweaks to a tech article i submitted, which included writing up a meta title (of which i just grabbed the first half of the actual title) a meta description (the description you see on google that no one actually looks at) and bumping down the Grammarly 'plagiarism' score from 3% down to 2% (changing the wording around in 2 sentences) and i'm just like . why do we even have editors lmao like what are we paying those people for .

#work stuff#silver jelly#like at my main job i could have gotten all that done as an editor in less than the time it took them to type out the#message sending it back to me ?????????#(like we do not give a shit about the Grammarly scores unless they're like > 11% and i DO think it's stupid that mine was 'unacceptable'#at 3% when their rule isn't even 2% it's 'less than 3%' like throw me a fucking bone here man)#like it's not even a me being lazy thing; if the editor had looked and seen that i'd missed those things and either fixed them or told me#to fix them BEFORE we sent it to the client we'd look 100% more professional . don't get me wrong; their text wall of guidelines is in fact#bogus and that's Why i missed these things bc i had 9000 other things to think about when i was getting it ready for submission. but why is#that ALL on me??? when i KNOW there's at least one other set of eyes on this thing?? idk doesn't sit right !!#and it just makes me personally look bad (because i 'alone' am making the company look bad despite the fact that the editor#could have said something!
