          “I cannot say that I am. Will is still greatly troubled by his routinely           bouts of sleepwalking, thus it was my hope that I could take this           chance to speak to Jack about it in person.” Careful, calculating eyes           watched Beverly straighten the papers once again and set them aside.           “Unfortunately, he was not fit to see reason. The best I can do for Will           is to accompany him to his next journey into the field and be there           to pull him out… if necessary.”

     After a pause, she stood up. The corner of her mouth tipped up in the faintest of manners in response to his reply. “No one really knows what goes on between you two when Will goes to his therapy sessions,” she commented, “but whatever it is, he trusts you.”

     Her expression shifted into a lazy smirk. “At least, he opens up to you more than the rest of us.” That wasn’t to say Beverly demeaned her relationship with Will, or thought Will did either, but it was pretty clear there were some things he still kept to himself despite being comfortable with each other. “He listens to you, right? You’re practically the Jiminy Cricket to his Pinocchio.”

absence of evidence;

merry christmas to those who celebrate it. happy hanukkah likewise. and all other wintry season celebrations i doubtlessly missed (because i'm not familiar with them. |: ).
replies haven't been completed, but they are drafted. i'll attempt working on them tomorrow after family things. today was just the prelude, and i only now managed to escape the festivities.
and apparently i'm being dissed by santa because my presents (so far) consist of a head wound, several long cuts on my hands, and nearly destroying a toaster by staring at it. XD
anyway, happy holidays and i am off to bed. i get to start christmas day bright and early in the morning.

just a small notice

absence of evidence;

since i'm not glued to the computer screen anymore (or at least as often as i was various months ago), i've moved some of my contact info to mobile instead of desktop. this is more convenient for me, and easier for anyone wanting to talk to me.
now, this change includes my skype, which i mainly use to talk to people. i may or may not be providing other accounts like kik or line, etc.
pm me if you're interested in knowing any of these, or other means to talk to me. even if we've never exchanged contact names before, that's okay. drop me an ask and we'll sort things out. :3

"Hey, sleepy head."

Send “Hey Sleepy Head” for my muse to have fallen asleep on your muse while watching TV

     Lashes fluttered upon golden cheeks, illuminated by the changing lights on the television screen. Distinguishing between the noise of the show and the one with whom she was watching it, Beverly pushed herself into an upright position.

     Her hair was mussed on one side where she had rested her head against Brian’s shoulder. After a moment’s stare, she lifted a hand to her mouth, tracing the edges. “Did I drool…?”

Hettienne Park acting appreciation - Amuse-Bouche

I love this whole Beverly/Will scene so much, but I especially adore this section of it, and watching how Hugh and Hettienne play it and play off each other.

Beverly: I suggested one of those clackin’ swingin’ ball things.

We see Beverly with a little smirk, she’s enjoying herself.

Then Will stops and thinks, and we see Beverly look a little surprised, her eyebrow raises, this is not what she was expecting.

Will turns to her, and Beverly’s face shows concern. Has she misread Will, misread the situation?

Will: That would have been funny.

Beverly gives a genuine smile. She’s read Will right, they understand each other.

This exchange is what sets up the rest of the scene and establishes their camaraderie and friendship. This is why she’s comfortable giving him a shooting lesson, is comfortable touching him, they’ve established this rapport.

And Hettienne can convey all this despite having protective eyewear on and earphones around her neck.

Inspired by this post on bonearenaofmyskull's blog and of course this art by nowwheresmynut
