Truly Madsy Deeply

@penelope-all-that-mads / penelope-all-that-mads.tumblr.com

This blog is mainly dedicated to this remarkable Danish actor named Mads Mikkelsen and his work. It's a mix of Mads cause it's a Mads world. My adoration dates back in 2007 when I first saw him in the film ''Efter Brylluppet'' | ''After the wedding''. Since then he keeps on ''shaking'' and inspiring me with his masterclass, expressive performances, his seductive uniqueness and talent. There's also plenty of room for other movies, filmmakers and actors I love and distinguish.

hey are you aware that jk rowling is actively campaigning to strip trans people of their rights in the UK & promoting her new fantastic beasts movie helps drive sales/puts money in her pocket to do more anti-trans campaigning? it’s cool that mads is in it but idk if that’s important enough to justify boosting a movie whose profits will fund hate

Thank you for your message and for bringing this again to my attention. I had replied to a similar post some time ago but I'd like to clarify my position for one more time. First of all I am and will always be against any violation of human, trans rights etc. from WHEREVER/WHOEVER come from. Secondly, this blog is about supporting Mads acting and nothing more than that. I've never been a fan of JK Rowling, never paid once in my life to watch any of the movies based on her books and I doubt whether I will pay to watch The secrets of Dumbledore although Mads is in it; (indeed, it's cool that Mads is in it although I have my reservations for reasons not related to this topic.) I do admire Mads and Jude (Law), and my (re)posts have to do with them as actors and playing together and not about promoting a film in order to further encourage Rowling's anti-trans and hate campaigns.

It's totally different to boost a movie by buying merchandise/paying to watch it etc. from just reblogging an actor who has a role in it and you simply admire his skills and talent during his overall career.
