I just wanted to announce again that I will not be putting up ships or themes for femslash yuletide this year, but I will reblog and femslash holiday themed fic to this tumblr, so long as it’s posted in the femslash yuletide tag.
Mod announcement
It’s that time of the year again, but unfortunately, I will not be putting up themes for femslash yuletide this year. I’m out of ideas, and I'm preparing for a move.
If anyone wants to write femslash with a holiday theme and put it in the #femslash yuletide tag, I will happily reblog your work here.
I’d also like to point Marvel fans to this exchange.
"Oooh you guys are under the mistletoe!"
Aurora frowned and turned to look at Emma. “So?”
"Well," Emma said, giggling at the look of confusion on Mulan’s face, "It’s traditional for two people to kiss when they’re caught under the mistletoe together."

Day 5: Greeting Card
Fandom: The Musketeers
Pairing: Constance/Milady
~
Milady was making a pot of tea when Constance called to her from the study: “What do you think of the card design?”
Milady padded into their study nook, stepping over rolls of wrapping paper, and bent over her girlfriend’s shoulder to see the screen of Constance’s laptop.

Day 6: Reconciliation
Fandom: The Musketeers
Pairing: Constance/Milady (hinted Anne/Constance, pre-Anne/Constance/Milady)
~
The servant led Milady to the parlor where Madame Bonacieux waited to receive her guest.
Milady eyed the maid. She was smartly dressed, and her hands spoke of little physical work. The widow Bonacieux must have other maids who took care of the sewing and cooking and such. Her hands, chapped by work when she and Milady had last met, must be soothed by oils and lotions now.
Much had changed while Milady had been away — exiled by her ex-husband until she had been pardoned by the queen. Not only pardoned, but summoned and offered a job. The queen had changed too, if her plans for an all-woman queensguard and spy network were anything to go by.

Day 7: Gift Exchange
Fandom: The Musketeers
Pairing: Flea/Fleur
~
“Oi, miss, can ye spare a coin?”
Fleur started and looked around for the familiar voice. A low laugh came from behind her and then Flea sauntered out of the shadows.
Femslash Yuletide, day 18: Family photo
Aura and Metis are usually too busy sciencing to sit down for a portrait, but here’s an impromptu lab selfie.
All the last contributions are going to be published over the next two hours. I do hope that everyone had a great time this year!
Femslash Yuletide, day 23: Workplace party
Junie was pleasantly surprised when Athena invited her to the attorney holiday party.
Femslash Yuletide 20 and 21: Kate Bishop/America Chavez and Jane Foster/Darcy Lewis
Theme: Star
“Moon picnics are categorically the best,” Kate says, looking up at the sky. “Especially forest moons.”
Indeed, the stars are nearly covered by the canopy of forest, but the trees themselves are silvery and glint in the night, and Kate and America can see the planet that they’re circling. In the distance, there’s music celebrating this system’s solstice; soon the people will be able to return to their planet, which is plunged into darkness for three months and grows deathly cold.
The party was intense and certainly not all-ages, and America and Kate eventually ran to the forest, giggling and red-nosed and Kate tracing constellations on America’s nose. She loves how America giggles when she’s a little tipsy, loves how easy it is to convince her to lie down on the ground and watch stars move at their non-quantifiable paces.
“After this we should go back to Earth,” America says. “Stay there for a couple weeks. Then I was thinking we could come back here for the spring. The locals tell me it’s beautiful.”
“I’d like that,” Kate says.

Theme: Making Ornaments
Darcy likes to crochet tight little granny squares and doilies that she then glues to Christmas ornaments with glitter glue. It’s something that she saw on Pinterest, and even Jane will concede that it actually looks kind of nice on their tiny plastic tree.
“Hey Jane,” Darcy says. “You know it’s been like four months since you started looking for whatever it is you’re looking for, and I’ve totally failed all my exams, but I still think that this semester hasn’t been a total loss.”
“You’re really sweet, Darcy,” Jane says, taking another sip from her black coffee and staring harder at her calculations. “You should write Hallmark cards.”
Darcy snorts, and pulls out a sparkly ball of yarn that catches Jane’s eye.
“I mean on a personal level. If I hadn’t taken that internship here, I wouldn’t have met you, and I wouldn’t have found out how cool the sky is. You know I incorporated some of the stuff you said about quantum bridges into my paper about John Locke? Legit. I didn’t fail that paper.”
Jane’s calculations are starting to flipflop before her eyes, and even with her heavy duty reading glasses, they’re blurring.
“Hey, Jane,” Darcy says, putting down her crochet hook and yarn. “You need to sleep.”
“Teach me how to crochet,” Jane says, alarmed at how her words are slurring.
“Later, Doc, right now it’s time to hit the flannel nest of coziness,” Darcy says. She is physically taking the papers away from Jane, and Jane is grateful. “Come on baby, let’s go.”
“’M not your baby,” Jane protests quietly, and leans into Darcy’s hand carding her hair.
“Of course You’re not,” Darcy smiles, and Jane is asleep before she even hits the bed.
Today is the free day of Femslash Yuletide. Go ahead a post for any themes you missed.
The tags page for this year is now completed.
Femslash Yuletide - Sleepless
I wanted to do so much more for Femslash Yuletide, but then there was my Latin project and Christmas presents and suddenly, it’s the 24th already. So, at least I can post one little thing.
Day 24: Sleepless Fandom: BBC Sherlock Ship: Mary Morstan/Janine Hawkins
Femslash Yuletide Day 25: Maria Hill/Lady of Your Choice
Theme: Resolutions
Maria does resolutions every year, writes them down on fancy stationary and pins them on the fridge so she sees them every morning after her run and before her protein shake. 2014’s resolutions had been:
- Work harder
- Eat healthier
- Trust nobody
This year they are:
- Take more breaks
- Eat better
- You can trust her with your life
The final theme of Femslash Yuletide is resolutions.
Femslash Yuletide. Jemma/Bobbi. Sleepless.
~500 words
Jemma yelped when she felt a cool body slide in behind her as she lay in bed. “Wha—”
“Sorry,” Bobbi whispered. “I just couldn’t sleep. And I know I’m cold. I was sitting out on the couch, hoping that I could fall asleep there. Then I thought of you.” She stroked one cold finger up Jemma’s arm, and Jemma shivered.
“Well, you’re welcome in my bed, but you know it’s—” She grabbed her watch, checking the time. “Ah. Four in the morning.”
