Commissions

So, I didn’t get the job. They never contacted me after the interview, but I saw the ad back up and Im taking that as a no. (Which is heartbreaking, but I guess oh well.) Im still applying for other jobs, in the meantime Im currently living off my parents, which I hate cause they have enough problems. I own my friend £366 which I promised to pay back to her soon. 

Whilst also looking for jobs Ive been submitting freelance proposals, but no bite so far. For the meantime the only way I can make money is through commissions! Im sorry to be such a pain, but I would be incredible grateful if people would reblog my commission post !!

♥ Happy Valentines Day ♥

What was this? An anonymous gift of flowers, attached was a note with a simple message.  “Dear Marlands May your day be as nice as these flowers. Happy Valentines day” Surprised was the first reaction. Someone has thought of her on this day? As well send her something? Marlands accepted the bouquet, taking in the sweet floral fragrance whilst warmth built up in her chest.

I’m sorry

I wanted to take this time to apologise for the lack of content for this blog, despite countless promises to make it more active. Before it was hard to find the motivation to draw, now it’s a struggle to find the time as well due to being recently employed.  I want to keep this blog going, I’m just not sure how I’m going to do it yet. I have considered giving the blog to someone else, or at least sharing it with someone who has free time and feels as passionate about Marlands as I am.  This is only an idea though, I don’t want to pressure anyone to run a blog and create content. Or have someone who portrays Marlands incorrectly or claims she is their own creation. It’s tricky balancing time right now, but I’m going to keep trying. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know ^^ I wish you all well and thank you for following.  Kind regards, admin

This drawing is based off a roleplay idea I'm currently doing. It's set in Fallout 4 universe where Marlands (a scientist) falls in love with a synth (in this case Arthur Kirkland). Made in a lab, Arthur was the product of an attempt to make an ultimate weapon.  A machine that looked human, but was an unstoppable fighting machine.  Sent to spy and kill it's targets. Unfortunately, Arthur had too many 'humanity' traits and emotions, so was deemed a failure.

Marlands, working undercover to help the synths produced in the lab, finds Arthur and takes him under her wing. Soon running away with him when the lab was attacked.

Travelling the wastelands together, the two developed a romance and soon built a settlement. Providing a sanctuary for synths and human alike. Especially for children, which they soon wanted to have.

After a lot of blood, swear and tears, the two finally get what they sought out for, for so long. A home, each other, and a child on the way.
