A Look From Above ⛲️ It's time to look at things from a distance. Evaluate the things you are doing / not doing. You can go on a routine and get caught in something that is too linear with no height. It's time to look at things from different perspectives. Could be yours. Could be someone else's perspective. Maybe look at it from their height. With this you will not only better yourself, but better understand the people around you. Cottage Country 🏔 This week I got to stay at the beautiful @jwmuskoka located on Lake Rosseau. How beautiful is this place? One of the top rated resorts around the area and definitely something to enjoy to round out a trip to Muskoka. You know, I used to come up here every year and it was something I have fond memories of. Being back here brought back those great memories and added new ones to the list that I hope to xo continue. One last thing. 🍤 The Camarones Enchipotlados at @loscolibris220 were 👌🏻. I'm usually not one for shrimp, but it's a great dish. Don't call them dreams. Call the plan. 🏞 I've wanted to go to Bon Echo Provincial Park for while. When I got there, I already felt accomplished that I made it happen. Everything else was icing on the cake. Dreaming is nice but it's something you won't feel unless you go and do it. So game plan it and make it happen, even if you have to schedule it a year from now. Go back to your roots 🌲How you grow up is what defines you. Everyone comes from different upbringings. But, everything that you have been through can be turned around as a positive. The most interesting people are the ones that use their roots to bring good from their own perspective. Even help people in similar situations. East Coasting ⚓️ Had an amazing time at the @foxharbrresort in Nova Scotia, just over an hour away from the airport. First time being over to the East Coast and it really is a great place. People are so nice, the dynamic scenery, the food...my goodness. I'm excited to show you my trip and give you a few tidbits along the way. Have you ever been to the east coast? ...After two great test drives with the 2017 Ford Fusion + Art Class + Tour of McMichael Art Gallery... It was time to eat 🍴 Now, rarely I post pictures of food. Frankly, I think it's a bit tacky (imo) but I think this meal was significant. Because we had our art that we all created before surrounding us like we were eating in our own Art gallery. It was beautiful...and McMichael rarely opens the section we were in to events. So I found that significant. Instead of posting a picture of the table...that looked a bit stock photo-ish after I edited it, I decided to choose this wonderful dessert picture (a beef tenderloin picture would be a bit much in the morning). But all-in-all a wonderful afternoon with @FordCanada. It was nice to be both a driver and a passenger in the 2017 Ford Fusion. Quick Story! So, around 5 years ago I won a chance to drive a 2012 Ford Fusion around the Molson Indy with my dad. Let me say, when it gets up to speed it's good around the corners. I was doing a speed that would make your Snapchat filter not calculate it properly and it was a great experience. It felt very similar, so it brought back some great memories of the car and being with my dad. ...Next thing we know we head into the roundabout at McMichael Art Gallery 🎨 Funny thing is, I used to live in Bolton, just down the road from McMichael and as soon as I move away, that's when I go. As opposed to the 15+ years I lived so close to it. I digress. So. We got some time to tour the grounds, find out the living conditions of some of these famous painters and more about them too. Incredible how they would stand out and paint or sketch in almost any conditions to make their paintings more interesting. We actually got to paint some of our own pictures with our 2017 Ford Fusion as the highlight. It was fun, I haven't painted since Grade 7 or 8. Therapeutic? I'd say. It's not arriving in Paris any times soon and the group isn't expanding into the Group of Eight. so I thought I would talk about it and show you some beautiful Canadian Art in it's natural habitat. Went on an road trip adventure with @FordCanada through @lxrymag 🚘 Started off at Distillery District to a line up of new 2017 Ford Fusions and some of my favourite bloggers gracefully and somewhat posing beside them, excited for the day ahead. We got our coffees and started heading up north! My car was the best car because it had @mselizabethr and @rrobertl in it with me. We were first in our heads so we made that into a reality and were first to Belfountain Conservation Area for a quick lunch and then off to McMichael Art Gallery for more fun activities. The car was great. I am used to bigger cars, but it's got all the bells and whistles. Good summer and probably a great winter car too.
