Anonymous asked:

why yall so excited about the "gift from the divine" line? Its not even in the manga and I thought hashimada fans were so concerned about canon omg hahahaha.

"マダラは天の啓示" = "Madara was a revelation of the divine" This phrase can also be translated as "gift from the divine", as the official Viz translation (and a scanlation group) chose to do.

Nice try.

Correction:

啓 = disclose, open, say

示 = display, express, indicate, point out, show.

In japanese, two kanjis are used when needed to emphasize. Japanese is a poetic language.

啓示 (keiji) means revelation or apocalypse

Often used to narrate tales and myths from japanese folklore.

Usually in japanese, you tend to have two meanings, but not here because two kanjis are used with the same meaning. In other words, it does not mean ‘gift’.

It should be known that spanish translation from japanese, is often much more accurate than an english translation. Here is the example:

Now that you have been corrected, you may twist the meanings to satisfy your convenience.

For the peace of the Hidden Leaf Village and most of all, for Uchiha Sasuke. He wanted to die as a criminal and a traitor. He accepted disgrace in the place of honor, and hate instead of love, and despite of that, he died with a smile on his face. He entrusted the Uchiha name to you, his younger brother, deceiving you to the very end.
