Kim, you are still not forgiven for the Marilyn Monroe debacle. However, I like this look! Works within the general idea of the theme, fits in with her other red carpet appearances. At first I was a bit thrown by the shrug but the more I look at it, the more I don't mind it.

She looks like an actual ice sculpture, I’m gonna scream!
I have a little confession. Every year. Every single year I think about making something for the MET Gala theme. What's the reason? NONE! just to have it. Also long before I even I decided to be a fashion designer I wanted to go to the MET Gala. Not so much these days, I just want to be married and babies
I think about every year when the theme is announced. I never do it. I get Distracted and common sense steps and I spend the money and time making other stuff. It would be a fun project to do. But I have so many unfinished projects to get through and list of ideas that keeps growing. Maybe I should challenge myself. If I can finish the two Persephone (Spring and Fall) and my 1890 tea gown I might just might squeeze Next year theme on the list. but Hey don't listen to me I say a lot of stuff and never do it
You know what my Fall Persephone gown would have fit this year's theme wonderfully. I just never finished it. Im scared to start the embroidery part of it. I have a bit of anxiety about how it will turn out. I will over come it and it will be alright.
