The issue I have with AI isn't that you can do various things that would still be bad if a human did them, it's that you can automate the bad things at mass scale.

The magazine that had to close submissions due to AI wasn't because the AI was sending bad stories, they deal with bad stories all the time.

The problem was that so many AI written bad stories were showing up that it turned into a Denial of Service attack on their staff. A successful one at that, if the goal was to stop them taking any unsolicited submissions.

Something that's a minor problem or annoying stops being minor when it can be mass automated.

These clauses are underhanded ways that corporations seek to deprive you of your right to participate in class-action lawsuits and your right to a jury trial. (This does only apply to us users ,other people still spread the word though )

i think the worst thing about the whole “anti-woke” culture is how it’s not only dumbing down people (folks are literally forgetting pronouns are an actual word class, an inseperable part of grammar and everyday speech) but also praising meanness and insensibility above all. it has managed to make malice and unkindness synonymous with factfulness and reason as if intelligence didn’t stem from emotions. as if feelings weren’t the very core of human beings. as if knowledge wasn’t achieved through passion, sympathy, and open-mindedness. as if the whole crux of this entire anti-wokeness movement wasn’t rooted in pure unadulterated emotion of hatred and hostility.

The way some folks talk about media is the equivalent of reading "For sale: baby shoes, never worn" and jumping to, "oh they murdered that baby"

Consider how accurate your assumptions can be based on limited information, specifically due to the constraints of the medium and format.

The point is: if you're only given eight 30-minute episodes to tell a story, there's only so much information one can convey, given the constraints of the medium and format. To say nothing of censorship and corporate greed.
