I haven’t blogged since 2009 but I realized this blog would be useless if I never post anything. I usually only upload artworks but this time I’d like to talk about a recent experience I had with The Bluedoor Collective.

On the brink of a nervous breakdown due to finals week, 20/20: Projected Vision was a breath of fresh air not only to students but also to folks who enjoy good music, good art and good company.

This event by the UP Broadcasting Association last Friday at the UP Ayala Center featured various bands like Ang Bandang Shirley, She’s Only Sixteen, The Buildings and Oh, Flamingo!, as well as spoken word artists like Trisha O’Bannon and Chad de Guzman and the viewing of winning entries “Prom Song” and “A Crash Course in the Quarter Life.”

Aside from selling stickers at this event, thebluedoorcollective actually took a bigger part in the production of it since we were tasked to be its production team. We were responsible for everything from the backdrop, the standee, to all the fairy lights hanging around the venue and the likes. It was really a proud moment for us, especially for me, Jino, Kr, Sara, and Zeke who worked all night long to see the fruits of our labor appreciated that night. A couple of bluedoor also did live art at the event.

We would like to thank our new customers and to our loyal patrons who bought our stickers. We always feel the love from you guys ♥
