An ongoing art project, the Guitar String Ball. For the past 3 years I’ve kept every guitar string I’ve changed or broken and weaved it through this thing. Its about 5-6 inches in diameter, and weighs roughly 5 pounds (much heavier then you’d expect). Over the course of its growth Ive come to realize it has the blood, sweat and tears from every chapter of my life since its creation, or more accurately since I moved out and started living on my own. It symbolizes growth both as a musician, but also a person. We cant hold ourselves to individual moments, but only to the culmination of those moments and the person they've built us to be.

A tooth too fanged and gnarled The heart to big for its cage Moving up but feeling down The leather of the pet As diamond among the tissue Space between the constriction Pleasure in contempt Inside the angst of salvation Exertion in his leisure Its value in nothing Restored by its destruction
