so. yesterday i learned that a religion really doesn't define a person at all.
i reached out to a girl i really didn't know because i was having a bad mental health day and remembered she had posted something about reaching out to her no matter what if you needed help.
we talked for a bit after she helped me (tremendously) and got on the topic of religion. i told her i'm a very loose christian, i believe in God and Jesus and Heaven and Hell. She told me she was a satanist then said she understood if i didn't want to talk to her anymore.
it really broke a stereotype church, media and people had embedded in my head since i was a child. Not all christians are good, the major of non-christians are bad.
