the extra weight drops her from the cieling fan but it doesn’t bother her much. laughter escapes her, all the blood rushing back to other parts of her body made her feel like a feather. ❝ ━ babe !  ❞ a playful whine as she lays there on the carpet, still giggling, ❝ ━ i was tryin’ to perfect being a bat. ❞

The cervine was grinning, pleased at having gotten Rangiku down from the ceiling, lightly kissing the back of their neck. “And why were ya doin that? Looking to get into some nighttime vigilantism?”

“Well hey there.” She smiled, promptly slipping her arms around the woman as she sets her controler aside, pausing her game while Rangiku took it upon herself to nestle ontop of her. Of course she probably could have just kept on playing for a while, but decided to stop and promptly set about her duty of gently stroking along her girlfriend’s scalp and spine, hugging her to her form as she tilted her head and eyed the sleepy tigress.

“Sounds like someone went and got themselves a little exhausted. You wanna play smash with Me? Or ya just here to soak up some warmth?” She asked a bit playfully, offering the woman a sip of her Dr.Pepper.

   It’s easy to forget how different they are. Where they came from, how they lived. But Rangiku is only concerned about the here and now. Hand slipped between them, fingers rising to gently cup Emilou’s cheek in warm palm.   ❝ ━ I ain’t so busy that I can’t find time for you. Sure, I’m busy but I could put away a few days to spend every second with you if it meant I got to see you more. Besides, when you’re away this long, my life seems pretty boring.  ❞ Such spontaneity and life just wasn’t present when she wasn’t around/

She closes her eyes for just a moment as she feels the hand curl along her cheek for a moment. All the same she does....hesitate. 

“I’m not sure how your coworkers would feel about me being around often. From what I hear, your Captain doesn’t even like us being near the barracks.” She murmured softly, lightly slipping her arms around the shinigami’s waist. 

“But....maybe.... in the Rukongai or something.” She murmured, lightly rubbing her thumbs along the curve of the shinigami’s waist, always a bit fascinated with how soft she was. Arrancar weren’t hard like iron, but their skin was a bit thicker. Shinigami had so much more give to them. 

“That might be nice.”

The Cervine paused at that, blinking as she felt those arms slip around her and glancing up. “Huh? Yea I’ve eaten. Had food a couple hours ago.” She responded. “And I slept a while ago,” She pointed out. Days weren’t really a thing in Hueco Mundo so she didn’t think to be specific. She does, however smile, leaning up and gently kissing the Shinigami. “You worried about me?”

Fingers gently smoothed over Emi’s back, faint grin playing at the corners of her mouth when she’s kissed. Mm, that would never get old. Did she worry about her? Heh, what a silly question. ❝ ━ Of course I worry about you. Am I not allowed to ?  ❞ It seems like a foreign concept to the tigress, not worrying about someone she loved. However, if the Cervine wanted her to dial it back, Rangiku would do so without hesitation. ❝ ━ You’re always on my mind, so I happen to think of what you could be doing when you’re away from me.  ❞

O-oh! She was a little surprised at the information that Rangiku consistently grew concerned about her. She....hesitated, and then reached up, gently rubbing her thumb along the woman’s cheek. “Er...sorry. I didn’t realize. If you want I can come check up on you more often. I just figured you had work you had to do usually.” She admitted, having assumed that shinigami were a pretty busy bunch.

Amusement flitted through her as her nose was kissed, a gesture she moved to mimic in kind, leaning up slightly upon her toes to do so. Settling now in the deer’s arms, the serpent returned the embrace, though her hold on Emilou quickly became far more vicelike. Even as she ducked her head to peer up at the other from beneath her eyelashes, her embrace was iron beneath drapes of silk. “ I am pleased to know you find my company sufficient compensation for such a tedious workload. ”

Emilou couldn’t help but smirk just a little as that grip tightened, causing her to make a soft noise as Cyan latched onto her, making it quite clear that the serpent was getting to that sort of mood. She’d have to clear off her desk it seemed. She maneuvered the both of them over to it and put on a grin as she looked down at that gorgeous face. 

“Oh it’s more than sufficient.” She assured the reptile, leaning in and promptly giving the woman a firm, proper kiss, her arms locking around those slender shoulders in reciprocation to that iron grip that Cyan was giving her.

"Babe.....” She’s at a loss for words with how supportive Cyan is of her work. And here she’d been worried that they would push it off as immature or stupid! She can’t help but smile as she promptly pulls the serpent in for a hug and a firm kiss right on her snoot!

“Riveting stuff today. First hearing from Coyote’s own spouse, and then to an apparent close contact with the Primera Kisuke Urahara! Mila is out sick today, but we have an old hand from the network Deez here! Deez, what do we have?”

“Thank you Emilou. This is News Anchor Deez Knaits. We’ve JUST received reports from the ground. Sources tell us that the Herds are rather split on the presence of the Primera among their ilk! Some members have shown LARGE concerns about some of their numbers falling ill or dead and have blamed Starrk’s presence! Others insist that the aforementioned individuals succumbed to natural wounds and believe that Starrk’s presence is a wonderful deterrent! We have two members of the herd with us for interviews later this evening!”

“Ah, honey. Sorry, I’ve just been busy with work a little lately. Tch, the news these days is depressing. They say ex-espada are out there harassing hollows. I tell ya, this place gets crazier and crazier.” she murmured, setting her blazer aside and adjusting the suspenders she had on, making her way over to her lovely girlfriend and smiling softly. 

“Ah, but coming home to you makes it all worth it. You know you should apply for a job with the station! You’d make a lovely news anchor.” She pointed out, but of course, she knew Cyan would likely decline, and simply gave the woman a kiss on the cheek. 

Truly a lady worth doing all this work to support~

“Is that so is that so? Well that seems to be the story you spin, but Starrk has a history of having issues. PRIOR to joining the Espada, he and Lilynette were notorious for the danger they posed to ambient hollows. With those around them often dying from exposure, even after becoming arrancar. And yet you claim that he maintains a presence around them for their safety.” She murmured, peering incredulously at the man before turning her attention to the Cameralizard. 

“Well that’s certainly an interesting story. We have not YET confirmed if any of the herds have succumbed to damage as a result of Coyote’s presence, but we DO have a senior correspondent scheduled to meet with some of the herd within the next Twenty Four Hours. That’s all from this end, back to you Mila.” She smiled, and waited for that green light to turn red, and the cameralizard to give them a thumbs up. 

Then, turning to Kisuke, she furrowed her brows a bit.

“You certainly show up a lot in Hueco Mundo these days. I’m gonna assume you’re not interested in any interviews in regards to your latest activities. BUT incase....” She reached out, Shelly promptly handing her a business card, which she passed onto Urahara. “SHOULD you like to participate in an interview, and have a public forum to address some of the concerns about your visits, here’s my card.....ALRIGHT SHELLY! Steve! Let’s move out!” She called to her crew, promptly turning her back on Urahara and vanishing with a sonido, soon followed by her crew.

“Absolutely Fascinating.” She murmured, peering just a little at that. Then she turned to the cameraman, which was, in actuality, a tiny lizard about 2 feet tall, doing it’s darndest to hold onto the camera. Emi promptly crouched down, looking right into the camera which then lowered it’s angle to keep track of her. 

“Well you heard it here first folks! Chiyo Deerlet, Starrk’s bondmate, expressing her explicit lack of support for Coyote’s heinous crimes. Now we’re back to Mila for the weather, and we’ll be right back with an interview from Kisuke Urahara.”

The lizard counted down on it’s claws, and then gave the thumbs up.

“Great job! you’re a natural kid. Hey, I have to get going for another interview, but speak with Shelly here and we can give you our contact information. I’d love to get an interview with you regarding your recent integration into Las Noches. Keep in touch, Ciao Bella~” And then she sonido’d away. 

A short arrancar with horn-rimmed glasses, Shelly, smiled and promptly supplied Chiyo with their card before the two of them hurried off after the reporter.
