Some more messing around on my animation software! (still practicing, but did this instead of the full panel) I decided to put up an unfinished GaaSaku Comic, mostly a prequel to these,

Currently no dialog. ^-^)

This is a distance of roughly 625 miles and we are going to assume that the speed does not include the time penalty of Spain having a different Rail Gauge than France.

At 890 miles of rail you can get New York to Chicago which would be the ideal first route, but what can you get with 625 miles that makes more since than Columbus?

Well at that distance you can get Raleigh-DC-Philadelphia-NYC- Boston

With intermediate stops in Richmond, Baltimore, New Haven, and Providence

That is a route that is not only good, but has potential to be one of the most used rail lines in the world if it were at high speeds and a cheap price

How about putting some more rails, especially high speed, out here in the midwest, so those of us stuck out here can travel without hours in a car or spending hundreds on a plane ticket?

I guess another route of equivalent length would be St.Paul-Madison-Milwaukee-Chicago- -Indianapolis-louisville

I remember when Obama put aside the money for a rapid light rail system from Chicago to Minneapolis. And the loathsome then Governor of Wisconsin gave the money back, and blocked the project.

Disabled Nico di Angelo Headcanons

  • Shortly after the war with Gaea, Nico starts having pain in his back, knees, and hands that can't be explained or healed, and make it difficult to walk and even hold a pen. At first, Nico tries to endure the pain, convinced he was just being dramatic, but after nearly collapsing during training, he finally caves and goes to Will about it. The healer recommends getting a cane and compression gear to see if they can help. Nico is reluctant at first but decides to give a shot, and is pleasantly surprised to discover they help immensely.
  • Over time, Nico decorates the cane with stickers and keychains that he got from his friends. He develops the habit of tapping the cane on the ground when he's nervous or impatient.
  • He wears compression gloves for his hand pain. Most people assume he wears them for fashion reasons. They're a bit of a hassle, since he has to constantly take them on and off to do things, but he learns to deal with it. He also wears knee braces, but you usually don't see them because he wears them under his jeans most of the time.
  • Camp is pretty accessible, and Nico has little trouble getting around. At first, he was afraid of going out in public with the cane, fearing people would see him as weak, but most are accepting of his disability. If anyone dared to give him shit about it, they learned the hard way not to fuck with him.
  • The aids aren't a miracle cure, and there are still days when Nico can't do things due to the pain being too severe. But he learns to be patient with himself and accept his limits.
  • The Hephaestus Cabin has offered to make him a cane that can turn into a sword, and Nico is currently helping them figure out the design.
  • Hades has also offered to get him a small hellhound trained as a service dog if he ever needs it.

Wanted a blushing Ulquiorra, and who else would back him blush if not for Orihime? : ) She's just so cute, ya know?
