My time here has come to an end.

I’ll always love Disneyland, and anything Disney. But life has caught up with me, and its time to move on, go to college, pursue other things than sitting behind this screen. I wish you all the best! I don’t think I’m going to be deleting, but this is a farewell. I will no longer be posting. Wish all you Disney freaks the best.

How do you feel about the upcoming changes being made to the park? (Star wars land, etc.)

I am very, very disappointed. The reason I haven’t written anything about this is because I am quite sad about the changes.

I don’t think a Star Wars Land belongs in this park. This park has always been a quaint, small, homey one. Star Wars Land just speaks big and commercial to me. Plus I always loved how every land was a broad concept like “fantasy” or “adventure” and multiple attractions could be inside of those lands. I don’t like how this new addition is specifically Star Wars - again it just seems like a material representation of consumerism, to promote Star Wars and that franchise, and the upcoming film. And most of all, I absolutely hate how this addition is hurting parts of Disneyland that are already there. Frontierland is my favorite land and am incredibly sad to see Big Thunder Ranch go. I’m afraid Disneyland wont feel like Disneyland anymore. I think these changes have definitely tainted my enthusiasm for the park which is very unfortunate.
