At the beginning of the year a girl named Avalon Young was a contestant on American Idol. They had her make a playlist of her 3 favorite artists. I was one of the 3. Avalon finished in the Top 8 of the show. A few months later we met in San Diego. A few months later we recorded a duet for her debut album. 2 Years ago I found a kid named Melanoleuca on YouTube rapping. He sang the chorus and I was blown away by his voice. I told him he should both consider singing full time and shortening his name. His most recent release is R&B. Tonight I play a show with them BOTH. I'm so inspired by them and their dreams.
