Gee whiz, sorry for not answering this sooner, I've been away from tumblr and the internet and am just now getting to read all the messages from the last 4 months or so lmao

Anyway, Idano was never meant to become a permanent thing, so I don't know what possessed me to try and make it one. Basically, I canned it because I was just making it up as I went, didn't really know where I was going with it, and repeatedly wrote myself into a corner. Hence the unrelated episodes. I also had some unfortunate ideas of humor at the time I was making it. Stuff that I didn't realize was as unfunny and awful as it is until years later. I've grown a LOT as an artist and writer, and even as a human being in the years since, and I dunno, (pun intended) I guess it ultimately boils down to I was unhappy with it and didn't know what I was doing.

Cool that you looked into my artistic past though! Thanks for asking! And who knows, maybe you'll see some of those guys in Alsioh's future. :)

Not rude, I know it's been a long time.

I've started drawing pages for chapter 1, but my life has been thrust into hell so I don't have as much time or energy as I'd like to have in order to work on it. That said, I don't know when I'll be ready to start posting it, but I'd like to at least finish the prologue and at least half, if not all of chapter one before I start publishing. At the rate I'm currently able to produce pages, I'd guess maybe by December at the absolute earliest, but highly likely it'll be at least another year.

I'm thinking of doing it this way as a way to keep a consistent upload schedule, but I may just change my mind and throw it out as a 'you get updates as they come' kind of thing but idk, probably not.

I suppose I'll take this opportunity to explain a little further too. Initially when I quit RAD I had a concept that I thought would be fun to develop, but halfway through I realized it wasn't really doing it for me and I got stuck, so I put the whole thing on the shelf and started over. It's been a long road of writing, naming, revisions, concepts, designs(of both the characters and the cover arts. I can't make a good cover to save my life it seems) character arc figuring, and fighting with myself on how I should present certain things. It's been absolutely exhausting and I hope the wait is worth it.

If you're talking about more RAD comic though you're out of luck, I'm never updating that again lol
