I really think people have forgotten just how bad things were under the Trump Administration. Literally every day there was news about some service being cut or someone terrible appointed somewhere they shouldn't be or what have you. He constantly flirted with WW3 and military dictatorship. It was such a blur of badness that there aren't big standouts for people to point to to make him "the XYZ president." it was everything. all the time. Why do we not remember this.

There's a reason I bookmarked this. McSweeney's deliberately put together an article titled Lest We Forget that listed over a thousand things Trump Two-Scoops Babyhands did in his four years in office. It was a daily barrage of bad things and thanks to the fact he appointed 1/3rd of the Supreme Court, we're still dealing with the consequences.

People say "he made mean tweets", and yes, that was a problem when arguably the most important person in the goddamn world is picking fights on Twitter of all places. But it wasn't just mean tweets

It was the Muslim travel ban.

It was the family separation.

It was the toddlers in cages.

It was the forcibly sterilizing immigrant women in federal custody.

It was a lot of things.

Even the constant tweeting was a problem when you remember this guy was in charge of foreign policy. In a game of poker where everyone is cheating, Trump was the equivalent of a guy loudly bragging about how many aces he had hidden up his sleeve.

Straight up they are just fully there. Shellfish are really fun like that, i have a shrimp fossil in my collection that's like. Yeah it's just 100% a shrimp, legs and antennae and all. When your skeleton is on the outside, it means your outside fossilises really well.
