Happy birthday to my old pal Angela Song Mueller, character designer on Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, now an art director at DreamWorks TV. That’s her dog, Sophie, whom we used as the inspiration for those spirit fox librarian dudes in Wan Shi Tong’s library.

This one is for a close friend of mine who had a terrible scare last week when her dog was bitten by a rattlesnake. Luckily, Sophie (the doge) is one tough cookie and recovering like a champ! Get better soon, lil lady!
